I would be down for this, I'm suprised to hear we have two people who are both fitness fanatics and DF players though. Seems a somewhat unusual combo!

Then again... you're Aussies. I'm a British expat so I'm allowed to be horribly out of shape.  :)

I'm not so much a fanatic as just interested in it. :P

Whereabouts do you hail from in Vic? Blarg and I are southeast, though I travel regularly to the west, and Osmosis is slightly less southeast.

For this to work as we all are studying or working it would need to be in a relatively central position.

I hail from the frigid northlands, but only about 15 minutes from the city by train.

City is probably the best bet, I'd say.

I would say in the city, in a public place.
Not that I think any of you are stalkers, but I have no doubt that all of you are stalkers.

nah, im a nice guy, im living in thornbury atm.

is anybody too young to drink?  there are a few parks around (belive there is one in fitzroy) where you can drink in public, we could get a few laptops, some beers and have a barbie and make a few forts between us one day on a weekend maybe?

Those of us who have thus far responded are almost certainly all 18+; I'm sure of it for everyone except Nilik, and expat is not a word I'd expect a child to use, so yeah. I'm not personally a huge drinker, but I doubt it'll turn into a pissup anyway.

Or, still in Fitzroy, the MANA BAR.

Or, still in Fitzroy, the MANA BAR.

If money is a problem, I'd advise agsinst it. It's a cool place, but waaaaayyy overpriced. Especially if you get a 'health' or 'mana potion' cocktail (a whopping $30!!).

If you want pubs in fitzroy, go to Bimbo Deluxe. Good range of beers etc and $4 pizzas (that are actually quite good)!

Oh, so now you guys want to meet up, once I'm back in Queensland! ::)
Hehe. I almost went to that Bimbo Deluxe place when I was down in Melbourne, but I was with a friend who wasn't quite drinking age. I didn't end up going to the Mana Bar either, mainly for the price reasons.
If I had some money I'd make a trip down there just to catch up with some fellow dwarves, but sadly I am dirt poor at the moment. I'd sell a kidney to fund it, but sadly I only have one of those in working order... :P

$15 each. I was more thinking, if we were drinking (which we probably won't anyway) we'd drink at a bar down the street and then play le games at mana bar.

Oh, I drink, I just hate the absolute lack of control I feel after one too many, so I refrain from drinking most times.
