So anyone had same thought as me as why his title is "Awe Inspiring Distraction"?

I think monsters are impressed by his mark of the manhood  :P

Because the mosters are working toward one goal but he is a distraction to that goal. What is all the effort for?! World peace?

Earwig, everything you've done thusfar has been brilliant. Please don't change something, especially not to please the sensibilities of people who get off on talking about how other people play games the 'wrong' way. The camp-metal caveman route was the perfect way to handle this story, and IMO you should not divert from it. Looking forward to the next update. :))

Yeah, what's the [RELSIZE] on Vanod's balls?
He needs to get a backpack so he can carry them properly, instead of leaving a double rut in the ground behind him.

If they ever fly off in an arc, a new island will appear on the worldmap.

Hey! It makes sense! Reason why Vanod has killed everyone so far is that they are distracted! And reason they awe is that he has bigger equipment than cyclopses/giant monsters/whatever! That is something that is very hard to hide! :P

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Thank you for providing a pleasant reading experience. It's like a fun well-illustrated novella, but more interesting because you know the world already. Please don't mind the people who aren't polite. Pay them no mind at all. Pretend like they don't exist when writing, if it's okay.

It is said knowledge is like a foul-smelling herb. It must be cooked well and thoroughly with experience to make it palatable. A young scholar's knowledge is therefore not only worthless but disgusting. -- In Dwarf Fortress you have another paradigm. Gather as much of that smelly herb as you can and toss it at your enemy, fracturing his skull through the +capybara man leather cap+.

Great thread, I'm really getting enjoyment out of it, your writing style, and your artwork.
On another note, I suppose his "Awe-Inspiring Distraction" is the reason Heather fell in love with him?

That... makes a surprisingly good creation myth.  It's like a dirtier version of Finn McCumhail and the Isle of Man.   And we all know the more references to junk the better, when it's a creation myth.
