Fantastic writing! And I adore all the art! Brock Samson would be proud, but disappointed at your callous disregard for your knife.

For the love of everything, keep the updates coming!

That pony game is terrible, My pony couldn't even Kick other ponies in the head, tearing a tendon and jamming the skull through the brain :"(

that's alright, the spear is just a knife on the end of a stick! or just a short bladed knife with a very long handle!

This is incredible. You may have finally given me the argument I need to convince my friends to start playing this game.

This kind of stuff makes me truly happy to read! DF is an awesome game/toy, and an irreplaceable launch point for fantasy worldbuilding/story writing if you so desire. It just gives you the hard data without telling you how you should feel about anything in the world, meaning you can really paint your own personalities and encourage personal attachment if you so choose. I adore it. :D

In fact, as proof that it's highly addictive and I should probably go to rehab, here's long cut detailing another world I made back in the day.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Once DF 2010 came out I realized it was a waste of time and dropped the project, though. One day I'd like to do a full worldbuild, but it sure is a lot of work for not much point beyond the satisfaction of building/creating.

PS- Update will come soon, I promise! My birthday was yesterday and I've been figuring out lots of real life crazy stuff going on right now (legal issues etc) so I've been scarce. Looking forward to playing on Vanod more though. :D

If anyone has any questions in the meantime, about DF or otherwise, lemme know, and I'll do my best to answer!

Thank you all again for the positive response, I hope it's been funny so far. Sorry I'm a little slow!

Oh god, don't I know it. Bursts of manic excitement and inspiration followed by months of inactivity and listlessness. I need a manager badly.

Really glad you dudes like.

· Starting to hand-draw the (Huuuuge) world map. I was planning on making it watercoloury looking. Jeez, I really need to start smaller in the future.
This looks epic. Coloured in some old looking style it would be mind blowing.
