@wolfchild: I was kind of hoping for model 500s that were extremely powerful, even if they had less capacity, but I guess I'll stick with handguns.

I don't want to make you're guns more powerful, you don't have enough firearms for that, but even with that power, a revolver was not good enough In My Opinion

Ok running the start now

Turn 0

You have each heard discrete rumours about attacks on some of the more remote orcish encampments, and it was not by wild beasts, each and every one of you was curious or worried enough about these rumours to approach the governing council, none of you was told, but the times you were given had you coming for the same appointment as eachother.

You're turns should include
 A) Why you are turning up
 B) You're general demeanour when turning up
 C) Anything special you do when turning up or encountering one of the other PCs
 D) 2 Turns worth of stuff you did before now, specifically intended to give a chance to have made something with technology perks, or make changes with body magic, but I do not want to leave the others out, so if you can think of something, do it (these two turns are longer than normal as well, basically 2 tasks rather than 2 turns)

"Goddammit council, dont you understand we need what we lose in all of these attacks, manpower and materials,
we dont even get spare parts anymore out there, can you answer me why gentlemen? DO YOU SAY WE DONT LACK PARTS??!! *Slams fist into table*
my name is Akht gealo and is the Orc responsible for engines and Waterpower in Ravine creek, and. i. am. fixing them with WOODEN BITS
JUST TO CONSERVE SPARE PARTS AND IT WORKS SHIT, WE ARE MISSING TWO DELIVERIES OF PARTS. ANSWER. WHY NOW

Look i can understand if you give growing communities an prepass but for us in the second line/*/ but to the east northeast of here its all breaking down,
i was sent here by the maintainers to grasp your attention to this, no parts, wires, and chems it goes really bad to re-plant witout nutritional chems for the plants too.

*sees an group of new arrivers* Grrrm "hello, sorry for the shouting but we really have technological
problems out there, even our damn veichle broke down on the way here, And im the one thats gonna fix it... again
but why are you here?"

/*/ second line: just became an accepted functional community, self sufficient in some ways like food (obviously not in spare parts and metal and chems)

yea... not really so good at roleplayan.
nutritional chems are to give "Helping" plants an upper hand btw, kind of like medical plants you know,
anything that needs re-working?

((So without any experience in the past ATM, I had no choice but to RP this. With no idea what to do. Sorry. Will edit upon request.))

Aurin paced in circles, examining her supplies before entering the council chamber. She was nervous, and partly worried that she had arrived this late but she promised herself; when those doors would open, she would be herself and not someone who had an act to show. [-B]She would be the calm, respectful and unassertive elf she knew she was.[-B] Though she did feel sweat form on her hands, must be the nerves.

She considered showing her knowledge off if she met some important figure, like another appointee if they had the time. [C]Maybe a quick fireball display, or manipulating the air around her hands to form vivid outlines of a tree or plant?[C] Yes, that could do, she knew the basics. Everyone in here was also important, as far as she knew.

Orcs. Considered a race by her people, it would be very hard to talk to them or reason with them given her...beliefs on others, not saying she had any stereotypes on them, no! But the fact that there were stereotypes proved enough of a hindrance for her plan. Her objective was clear, set by her own nature. [A] She would investigate those rumors on the attacks through questioning, yes, and also maybe help in aiding the refugees of those encampments.[A] She knew a bit about medicine and the general anatomy of a humanoid.

She stopped pacing. Maybe she was overthinking it all? She turned back to face her belongings and equipment. Other than the Warbow she held everyday, there was [D1]a bow-sight paired with a handle grip lying in the pile of other items, used for helping in accuracy. She had found these while on her travels, in trade with a wanderer in a tavern.[D1] It would serve well soon enough, if she was accepted at all. [D2]Strangely, there was also a pack of white hand-wrap. This time, traded from another strange man in a public market. It was mostly used for keeping the...hands safe from constant use -wear and tear- like in punching or such. But, it could also be used as a make-shift bandage or pseudo-tourniquet if the need arose.[D2]

She sighed, and hoped for the best. It seemed like hours waiting, how did time slow itself when one was bored again?

((Edit: 2 replies, and an answer to the RP too!))

Ixi Ternock usually didn't mind rumors...she rarely had the luxury of time enough to pursue them.

But something about this caught her attention-particularly the brutality of the attacks. Orcs were supposed to be brave and bestial fighters, but these happenings had shaken evem their usual unflinching courage.

She thought the Mourners could be involved. The members of the Order were mostly upper crust Humans, highly skilled in magic and wacraft, entrenched in power and politics at the highest-and they shared a pompous disdain for 'lesser' races. Orcs, Reptilians and Therianthrope were particularly despised, Elves being tolerated...as slaves.

These Orcs were suffering now, but they would soon seek revenge-and if no easy enemy was provided, they could easily turn on the cities of the other races. Ixi knew the Mourners enjoyed starting wars, every little step one more to their insane goal of ultimate oblivion...

She decided to stop running. If they were involved, she would stop them. If not, whatever Evil was perpetrating these crimes would be stopped.

She arrived at the Councils a few days later, having donned her form concealing hood. She was quiet and observant-taking note of each of the others.

When she saw the Elf Aurin Velias, Ixi allowed a small smile, to see one so young at heart. Perhaps she would have been so, had her life been more fortunate.

Vynam Gannorth, she deliberately tried to stay clear of. He had the look of a wanderer...or an assassin. And she had faced them many times. While she made a conscious effort to avoid him, she did meet his grey eyes once more or less by accident. Ixi couldn't read the emotions that were within them, he was much too guarded-but they had a small, amusing staredown, contest of wills, which she conceded lest to catch his attention.

April Eploc made Ixi remember her young sister-whom the Mourners had sacrificed in some abominable rite when they were just 10. She spent a few moments to herself afterward, in long subdued grief.

Pre Action 1: Ixi inscribes an tattoo that allows her to generate a small electric current at the cost of stamina, so many times a day-not harmful, more like as to recharge a battery or device. (Firefly Symbol on the left palm)

IC talk/

@Tiruin:

Ixi stood beside Aurin. Her voice was quiet, calm, controlled-and oddly toneless, without any inflection that would put her as a woman from a certain city or country. Another gift of the Cult. They all spoke like that, and it was all she knew.

"...you seem nervous, young Elf...

Are you here to investigate the rumors as well?"

Ixi smiled, but doubted the Elf could see it under the shadows of her hood. So she removed it after a moment with a shrug, revealing her own spill of long, dark black hair and cold green eyes.

Kos had heard of the attacks not long after an assignment involving escorting a caravan had ended. He had before-hand sought someone who could fix his laser pistol, finding someone who owe'd him a favour. He would collect it after the meeting with the council.

As someone who had been told that everything outside the civilised areas were twisted from a young age, but who had also witnessed the outside world in combat, he was both a little surprised and completely calm, almost as if it was expected one day.

He had asked to meet with the council as he became increasingly concerned the more he thought on it. Besides, council somtimes paid a little more. Kos sure wished he didn't need to take money for doing something like this, but such was life.

He strolled in, with his carbine strapped to his back, laid back but with a determination. He was surprised to see so other people at the same time, considering he got his time from the council. Had he got the times wrong. A quick told him he had not. A shouting orc at the council caught his eye for the moment, so Kos decided to sit down and observe how things were going to go.

There we go, sorry for the wait. I was watching a movie with my sister.

Also, I assume that the Elves stopped killing their non-magical children?

((IC?  :-[ My linguistic ability is very low. Or was that In Character?))

Aurin jumped at the voice that had spoken her name. She was too concentrated on what next to do that she forgot the presence of others around her! Great.

"Er, yes Ma'am. To mainly investigate and maybe to help the Orcs who needed it, even if they don't trust me. Many don't, but that doesn't stop me from trying. I'm partly knowledgeable in the field of medicine, as you may guess by my belongings." She spoke quick and without pause. Yes, it was the nerves talking. She looked upon the woman, the artistry on her tattoos were amazing, like they were nearly alive. She also seemed friendly, despite the look on her face and tone in her voice, or was it just intuition?

"Um, I guess you are also interested in what became of the Orcs, I take it?"

Ixi nodded solemnly.

"Indeed, and a step beyond-to find those responsible. All too often the foe you see before you is merely an emissary of a greater evil.

My name is Ixi Ternock, by the way. A pleasure to meet you."

Ixi was, as usual, unafraid to speak that name. For a time, she had used false ones only-but after a while, she realized that they would find her anyway, name or none. All it had done was to keep her in fear of them, and thus she spoke her name with pride now.

Aurin smiled back, this was a first. "Aurin Velias, and a pleasure to meet you too, ma'am." She had calmed now, there was nothing to fear, but why was she nervous in the first place?

Ah, right, the others.

"Ixi, do you know any of the others? My memory isn't being helpful, but they are also here for the same thing right? Meaning to get answers from the rumors?" She noted their mannerisms, it did seem so, but she had to be sure.

Pointing out that Ixi never said Aurin's name aloud.
