The initial save or my current progress?

Either one is good, though I'd like to see the progress and the barony. Whichever is more convenient.

I was referring to your GFX temperature in the screenshot :s

That's in Fahrenheit.

Posted the Embark save. I'll upload an update later.

Pretty nice world. Lots of big, mountainous volcanoes to be found. Also, there's a giant evil mountain range that looks like a face.

Um yeah, but that's still very hot :s

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Actually, that's at a pretty normal level.

LISTEN UP, YOU BASTARDS!

Got my first siege.

Those are all the units. Smallest fucking siege I've ever had. Their leader, the lasher, is mounted on a Giant Olm.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been trying to work on artwork and writing stuff lately. Been slacking on that front. Fortunately, DF is one of those games that allows you to multitask while dwarves busy themselves with work, like moving all the stone into a quantum stockpile inside the fortress. Wood is quickly becoming a trivial concern, what with the underground now open for business. I haven't explored that much into it, though. I didn't want to do any explorations until I leveled the mountain.

Having a population problem right now. More and more dwarves are popping up. However, with such a large population, I could afford to conscript more miners. As soon as I can find some damn cassiterite, I can start making some damn bronze armor.

Oh right. posted my progress. Have fun with the siege.
