Hmm... my best world name was probably "The Eternal Planes" like the guy on the first page. Another favorite was "The Land of Omen."

The best names of places that I can remember are:
The Blueness of Birds
The Wild Oceans
The Stern Green Hills

Both of those names are more then 3 months old, so sorry for any grammar mistakes i made in what i remember.

Yes, i did mess a bit with the language files, which is probably one of the reason i get a -3 each week.

No need to become so pissed of about somebody not remembering a name 110% correct.

"The dune of Hammerers."
A desert, IIRC. Or maybe hills. Quite peaceful anyway, but I'm sure dwarves avoid it like heck.

I had a dwarven fortress in an area called The Point of Rulers, very aproriate, since it was a perfect area to settle

In the same world I had a large glacial area.
Called the Pointy Horns.
And all I could think of was Dilbert.

I don't know if this should go here, but I was just playing adventure mode and was told to kill something in "The Frilly Deeps of Fierceness"
Then there was a wiered mountain range name that I can't check because I started a fortress to make some nice weapons, but had something to do with violence and pulleys.

Most awesome world name? The Dawn-Plane of Dragons. Unfortunately, it had no untamed wilds tropical moist forest biomes, so into the recycling bin it went.

When I started my current fort, I was looking for an evil map. I settled for an untamed wilderness simply because it was on the Whirling Spike.

Kar Gomath, The Dimension of Legends houses The Tundra of Terrifying.

I don't even know what I'm supposed to think.

I'm pretty fond of the cursed regions in my newest world. There's "The Ugly Wastes of Hell", a cursed badlands, and "The Bog of Snot" which is a swamp.    :)

edit: Also "The Forest of Death"

Just generated this:
The Hill of Duty. Epic name for a small piece of completely featureless dessert.

"The Hammers of Raking" does make a good squad name btw.

Edit: The Responsible Whirling Barb of Worlds.

Good lord man.   You just rezzed a thread from nearly a year ago.

Also:

The biggest dwarven civ in my current world is based around the mountain range "The Spine of Rewards", which I find to be a promising name.
