I had a region name of The Artificial Hill of Rock.... I knew dwarves were good at making mechanisms, but building artificial mountains...?

Edit, got a rather nasty one, The Fragile Holes of Dripping.......

i shouldnt post this.  i should just let it slide, and go on about my business.  but i cant.  so i appologize in advance to the entire forum for my jackassery.

but this is bullshit.  look at every other name in this thread.  look at every name you have seen in the game.  NONE of them modify the final noun.  they are all "...of [something]".  NONE of them are "...of <twiddley> [something]" where <twiddley> is an adjective.  none of them.

also, Forgotten / Forgetting / Forget isnt a word in dwarf.  in fact, the only "forg" word in the ENTIRE RAWS is "toy mini forge".  thus, i call bullshit on your artifact adamantine longsword, and anything else in this fictitious inflate -3 world that you never had.

also also, were ascii-game-playing internet geeks.  theres no reason to lie to impress us.  its not going to get you laid.

right.  like i said.  sorry for my behavior.  its unnecessary.

Just finished rolling up a new world a few minutes ago and was looking around for a place to put my new fortress.

I think I'll be moving in to one of the six or so sites around the "Spike of Clobbering"  :D
Probably not the Scorching, Woodland, Untamed Wilds ones though. At least it's not evil!

I noticed that too, Puke.  There is no word in Dwarven, Elvish, Goblin, or Human for "forget" or any derivative.

It might be possible for an edit to the language_DWARF to produce the Adamantine sword name, but I think you've got him on the syntax.

Not that it matters to me at all.  Just putting it out there.

Finally some one called him out. I noticed he tended to "embellish" his exploits. Ironicly, Dwarf fortress is one the only games where you dont have to make awesome things up-they occasionally happen on their own...

All that aside, my current favorite (Of my very own) is "The Mythical World".  I'm saving it for the next version before I play it, though, so I haven't done anything to/in it.

Looking at the BMP I'm pretty excited...  Lots of mysterious goblin held valleys in nearly/completely inaccessable locations.

It's also interesting that I made the world completely on accident while trying to quit DF (A sin all in itself), but didn't stop the operation when I saw the name.

Cool stuff.

An adventurer, last night, entered "Stupidhole", a cave. Saved it there... perhaps I die?

Nothing amazing but still I have a world called Olzulslozgo, The Legendary Universe. I like it. So far my greatest forts have been made there!
