A modded character for Don't Starve, Wyvard is a dragon with many abilities revolving around temperature. He was originally a middle-aged man with a quixotic complex, but was cursed by Maxwell and banished to the world of Don't Starve. Because of his transformation, he suffers from low sanity and a high sensitivity to temperature. Staying in the darkness too long will freeze him and standing too close to a roaring fire will overheat him.
By clicking the hunger meter, Wyvard can toggle his Dragon Fire ability. This will slowly raise his temperature and produce light at the cost of quadrupling the speed of his metabolism. If Wyvard begins to overheat, he can shoot an explosive fireball to lower his temperature by 10 degrees. As Wyvard's temperature approaches 90, his light and the fireball's damage will scale up. At a temperature of 90, Wyvard's fireball will deal 20 damage and he will produce as much light as a torch. But if Wyvard remains at 90 degrees for too long, food in his inventory will be cooked and nearby items may spontaneously ignite. He may also ignite attacking foes and darts when shot.
Wyvard's temperature can have benefits or drawbacks depending on how hot or cold he is. As Wyvard becomes colder, his speed, metabolism and damage will slowly scale down. At a temperature of 0 degrees he will move 25% slower, deal 25% less damage and his hunger will drop 25% more slowly. The inverse is also true; If Wyvard's temperature reaches 70 he will move 25% faster, deal 25% more damage and his hunger will drain 25% faster than normal. Wyvard takes 50% less damage from overheating but 50% more damage from freezing.
During fights, Wyvard follows a strict code of chivalry. If he attacks a creature that is passive, fleeing, sleeping, burning or frozen he will suffer a sanity penalty of 20. Declaring that he fled a battle will make him suffer a sanity penalty of 10. On the other hand, Wyvard suffers half the sanity penalty for being near monsters and he gains 1 sanity for every aggressive creature killed. Due to his monstrous appearance, good creatures will target him but batilisks will not.
Since all true knights are polymaths, he's very knowledgable about a certain subject.
