Don’t Starve is an upcoming survival / exploration game. You play as Wilson, an intrepid Gentleman Scientist who has been trapped by a demon and transported to a mysterious wilderness world. Wilson must learn to exploit his environment and its inhabitants if he ever hopes to escape and find his way back home.

During the beta the game costs $6.99 for 2 copies. When it finishes it will be released for $15 each.

The BAD thing, currently the game is only playable in Google Chrome and purchasable in Google Wallet. This is not permanent, but the way it is for now. I have one key available if someone is willing to deal with Chrome.

I read about this game yesterday, and I wanted to create a topic here. But as soon as I saw it was linked to Chrome and Google Wallet I decided against it.

Gamer's Rule N°1: I don't play and do not talk about games which can't be played.

Yeah, I raged against it for 15 minutes before I just installed chrome and bought it anyway. The thing is, I raged at the idea of installing Steam, then Origin, then.........

At the end of the day, I can either stand firm with my convictions or I can play the latest games. (shrug)

I tend to deal with chrome (I'm doing so now, in fact), so if you still have that key, hemmingjay, I'd be interested.

Very tempting and I use Chrome anyway.  I'm about 50/50 at the moment, mostly due to lack of Steamitude (and oh gosh, it's terrible that I typed and meant that).
