Something that came to mind today that I felt was rather quote-worthy on it's own; especially when you consider how it all works out in the long run. Probably one of the most pessimistic, yet, most plausible, statements/observations to come out of me.
"Ah, Murphy's Law. The cause of many a relationship and pregnancy, divorce and abortion." --An observation of mine
Basically, because these things usually come when people least expect and/or want them to. For example, a single person that finally got comfortable with solitude after eons of being alone and lonely (and frankly, sick of being moody all the time over it), he'll finally get a date or relationship when he least expects (and eventually becomes wanted), and have to get rid of everything that finally made him happy with being single, all for the one person (which likely won't last anyway). And with couples, just how often do those who sleep around, or together regularly get pregnancy regardless of odds? The majority end result is usually depressing.
This isn't meant to derail the thread at all, so don't go exploring into it. This is just a funny, yet sad, observation I made (and when you think of it, these days, I'd prefer a lifetime of solitude over a "happy" marriage any day). Sometimes, I wonder if God decides to be a dick much of the time purely out of boredom.
