Everyone has 100 HP at the start.
Every turn, I roll a die for treated wounds and add that to a number. When that number is full, The wound is fully healed. When you have no slashing injuries, you regain health at 5 points per turn. Medium cuts up, regular or severe burns, and all bones must be treated to heal.
Sharp weapon damage function as damage over time to your hp. Slashing wounds stop bleeding when treated.
Blunt weapons do smaller direct HP damage, but can inflict penalties depending on severity. Broken bones will heal 'wrong' if not treated, and can become permanent.
Cutting:
Light cut. 5 to heal, -1 hp per turn.
Medium cut.10 to heal, -5 per turn.
Heavy cut. 20 to heal, -10 per turn.
Missing appendage or major artery severed. 40 to heal, -15 hp per turn.
Cruisin' for a bruisin' 5 to heal.
A good thumpin' 10 to heal.
Fractured Bone 20 to heal. 50% chance of -1 to some rolls.
Broken bone 30 to heal. -1 to some rolls.
Shattered bone 40 to heal. -2 to some rolls.
Minor burns, 10 to heal, 50% chance of -1 to some rolls.
Burns, 20 to heal, -1 to some rolls. 0/20
Extreme burns, 30 to heal, -1 to rolls, plus 25% chance to be completely paralyzed by pain when burned area is used.
