Although, last time she got all cryingy she became smiley and useless soon after. So we should probably not embark on anything too taxing after we get all this stuff done, just out of caution.

Told her the doctor visit wouldn't hurt.  The mom didn't know it would hurt, but that still made an impact in Diane's young mind.

Look, It's best to not pry.  Let's just console her and let her know we don't want to ever hurt her.


And remember to not bring up how we were going to eat her or make her half a breeding pair when we first met her.  :P

You put your arm on her shoulder in order to console her and she quickly hugs you, very tightly, and starts to cry on your shoulder.
She starts crying about a great many things. About how you are the kindest person to her despite being one of the greatest mass murderers of out time, about how she started killing just so she could be on the other side of things....
You discover a lot about her. Let's put it like that. Her story's a sad one too, the story with the doctor. She always asked will it hurt. To her mother, to the doctor, to the teacher.
They all lied, according to her. The comforting continues for quite a while.

She eventually stops crying.

Diane gives a smile. Not the usual smile you see that has a degree of insanity to it or a fake smile. A real good genuine smile.

He gives a nod in acknowledgement, and murmers something that might be interpreted as "Yes sir". He's improving. He picks her up by her collar.
