Setting up your plans for some stealthy black zombops action takes a day or two, and explaining to the actors where they'd best strike with their bombs.
Unfortunately, a patrol is never alone, and they have radios to call upon when attacked. It took you half an hour before you could pry the bullets out, so that was pretty annoying. Diane is improving, at the very least. She seems to be getting over the whole "being dead" thing.
Then, the day arrives where you figure everything could get going. The actors are in place, your hordes are in the maintenance tunnels, whom are mysteriously forgotten about.
The sewers, on the other hand, weren't. But but it's impossible to get a multitude of people through, as there isn't enough room for people to go through. You need to crouch to get anywhere, and the soldiers need to fire once to kill three zombies if they have large caliber.
So, you all stand in wait. Unfortunately, there seems to be martial law in effect. Fortunately, this means you only need to go from home to home as long as possible to get people. They mostly seem to guard the city surroundings, and have people on rooftops. So you maintenance tunnels threw a little wrench into their standard operating procedure. You went ahead and tackled an old apartment that give access to the tunnels, and it went like almost every other apartment you tackled before.
Quick.
When you get to the rooftop, however, you see that they posted a sniper here. Fortunately, he was busy checking the road, so he never saw you coming. So now, you have a fucking huge gun. Almost on cue, the screaming starts along with shooting. Explosions and zombies burst from the buildings all at once.
Multiple armored vehicles come in, but your sniper eventually manages to take down their gunners. Unfortunately, you can't get the drivers. So they make a right mess with some vehicular manslaughter.
That bit them in the ass when their car got stuck in the middle of a horde. So ended up hilarious.
You rush down-stairs after you ran out of ammo for the thing. You are sort of glad, seeing how that thing hurt your shoulder and you can't shoot for shit with the damned thing anyways.
you get out there, and see you are winning this scuffle for now, but the military has set up fences, meaning you need to retreat.
When you get back to the train, Diane picks off the few people stupid enough to try and follow you with her rifle.
You struck a blow against the military, but the element of surprise is now somewhat spoiled. You will have to apply a different tactic if you want to strike once more.
What now?
