I would just like to point out that we, on a thread about leading a sombie army, are discussing how to best comfort someone.
What's happened to you, DF forums?!
Anyway, my suggestion: give her a zombie puppy.
no

Jut no.
We are a zombie, not an emotionless, insane human.
Comfort her as we can, leave her by herself if necessary.

Also, we dident capture the city, right?
If not, then send actors into the tunnels to get us hobos and give us a route arround.

Diane? Can I come in?
Sobbing is your only responce, she seems to be too distracted to hear you.
Diane? Please. Let me in. I think we have to talk about this.
WE'RE ALREADY DISCUSSING IT, You... You hear a very wet cough from behind the door.
Just... Come in before I change my minds.
A bit oddly worded, but fine. you open the door, and see she's hiding between some crates and suitcases. She has buried her face on her knees, and is still sobbing. She is also wearing almost nothing from the waist up. You toss her a shirt you got out of one of the suitcases.

Thanks I guess... Look, I'm really.... I don't even know how to call it. I was fucked up before, but now? I just feel... scared. Good god, I'm actually scared!                        I haven't been scared since I was a kid! Well, me specifically. Pie got scared a lot... Though that counts as "kid" I guess.
Who's Pie?
Me. Or, one of the me's, anyways. You broke her once, though she forgot about that shortly after.
I figured as much. You struck me as unhinged in some other way besides willingly following a mass-murdering sociopath out of your own accord.
GET. OUT.
TW looks unimpressed, but is smart enough to close the doors. Diane clutches her head and bashes her forehead against a nearby crate.

That's the worst of it. With that thing in place, I hear the voices much clearer now.
You get used to that, they tend to come in agreement.
...How many do you have?
I lost count, more then 8 at least.
Heh, and I thought I had it bad. She sighs deeply.
Look, I did this to save you, alright? I'm happy beyond what you'd think that you're still you. So at the very least, your fear of "dying" was misplaced.
Still... I'm going to need a while, to gather my thoughts... But thanks for checking up on me.
She shakily gets up, and kisses you on the forehead, before leaving the cart whilst having a few involuntary sobs. She smiled, at least.
You sit there for a while, as it fully sinks in she just kissed you as a way of saying goodbye.
Guess it isn't necrophilia anymore. Or maybe it is?
What do you call it when 2 zombies "get busy" with each-other?

After you controlled that bit of damage, you take a look at your total damage.
The military ripped your horde to pieces basically, you only have around half you force remaining, and that only because you have a lot of new faces. Five armored soldiers got overwhelmed by your zombies it seems, and there may be some left in the city. You really can't be sure.
Presumably, they don't know you use this train, but it can't be long before they figure it out. You need to do something about the military presence and take over town, or you could just leave before they get here and kill you.

Also of note, no. I'm not trying to push you onto some plot track. I'm always writing by the seat of my pants here, though I really should start writing stuff down.

During some days we should try to take out the military when they don't know our presence. Likely by ambushing loners, but without making too much rattle, like a way to cause fear, lower the morale. Will make them more likely to run, and give us time to make MOAR ZOMBIES.

Then, for the onslaught:
Send actors to schools, spitters to hospitals. The military will be divided, so we go with a bunch of brutes and take the military while they are more vulnerable.

Or, you know, do any of the weird stuff bay12 usually comes across.

We just use standard bay12 forum operating protocol;  find the most profitable and humourous solution, with ethics entirely relative, and enact it.
We can't win against the military in a straight up fight.  It's time for covert zombops.

We should use actors for infiltration purposes; give 'em biobombs and send 'em behind enemy lines.  Have them all throw their bombs at exactly, say, midnight.  This plan can be worked into whatever anyone else comes up with for maximum spread-out chaos.
Also, hospitals.  That worked well last time, it's how we got our current horde.

I like Tomcost's plan the most, also we should go back to sending a lone actor into a school and infecting all the children there it would cause massive panic and the military would probably start breaking down due to suicides from parents of attacked schools.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Unless there's trains running through those tunnels. That would be a zombiegrinder right there.
Though I do support a slightly less brazen approach.

So apply caution to subways. find the maintenance tunnels for those.

Setting up your plans for some stealthy black zombops action takes a day or two, and explaining to the actors where they'd best strike with their bombs.
Unfortunately, a patrol is never alone, and they have radios to call upon when attacked. It took you half an hour before you could pry the bullets out, so that was pretty annoying. Diane is improving, at the very least. She seems to be getting over the whole "being dead" thing.
Then, the day arrives where you figure everything could get going. The actors are in place, your hordes are in the maintenance tunnels, whom are mysteriously forgotten about.
The sewers, on the other hand, weren't. But but it's impossible to get a multitude of people through, as there isn't enough room for people to go through. You need to crouch to get anywhere, and the soldiers need to fire once to kill three zombies if they have large caliber.

So, you all stand in wait. Unfortunately, there seems to be martial law in effect. Fortunately, this means you only need to go from home to home as long as possible to get people. They mostly seem to guard the city surroundings, and have people on rooftops. So you maintenance tunnels threw a little wrench into their standard operating procedure. You went ahead and tackled an old apartment that give access to the tunnels, and it went like almost every other apartment you tackled before.
Quick.
When you get to the rooftop, however, you see that they posted a sniper here. Fortunately, he was busy checking the road, so he never saw you coming. So now, you have a fucking huge gun. Almost on cue, the screaming starts along with shooting. Explosions and zombies burst from the buildings all at once.
Multiple armored vehicles come in, but your sniper eventually manages to take down their gunners. Unfortunately, you can't get the drivers. So they make a right mess with some vehicular manslaughter.
That bit them in the ass when their car got stuck in the middle of a horde. So ended up hilarious.

You rush down-stairs after you ran out of ammo for the thing. You are sort of glad, seeing how that thing hurt your shoulder and you can't shoot for shit with the damned thing anyways.
you get out there, and see you are winning this scuffle for now, but the military has set up fences, meaning you need to retreat.
When you get back to the train, Diane picks off the few people stupid enough to try and follow you with her rifle.
You struck a blow against the military, but the element of surprise is now somewhat spoiled. You will have to apply a different tactic if you want to strike once more.
What now?

Leave actors and a part of the hordes in the maintenance tunnels, then go attack some other town. Then come back, while the military is trying to defend the other town.

Other strategy: destroy the water plant, to deprive them from water. (please someone continue with this, I have no idea about what to do next)
