Or just shoot it with a laser, wait, and laugh.

hmm so i should be able to teleport my crew into the slug O2 room?

Yep, same as you can with the Flagship's weapon systems (the only thing I can really point to and say "look, the devs decided to make things easier for us.")

If they ever make a hard mode, I bet the first thing they do is connect those weapons to the rest of the ship.

Laugh while they pummel you with missiles?

I would probably get farther if I did not try to record of as many of my games as I can. Anyway I have the videos for my third game Here, Here, and Here. Would have posted these here sooner but I like to have read all the new replies to a thread before posting and I just have not had the time to keep up with the avalanche of posts here.

If you're going to keep making videos, you should probably make an LP thread - in this thread, your links will get quickly lost in the aforementioned avalanche of new posts.  ;)

Also, there's nothing more satisfying than finding a fire bomb before reaching the flagship. Fires are just so cool! Especially when you've got all 4 weapons burning, along with their shield room and medbay.

Does anyone get the feeling that the roles of Federation and Rebel are reversed?

Think about it. In general, "rebels" are fighting a losing battle of attrition, must use guerrilla tactics to stay competitive, and have to rely on surprise attacks and stealth to gain any sort of advantage. Rebels don't sweep across entire sectors at once, massing seemingly limitless numbers of advanced starships, to chase down a single fleeing vessel carrying vital blueprints for the enemy superweapon. That's more of an Empire thing. We're the Rebels.
And then John was a zombie.

Your forgetting that this is the after winning state of the rebels though if you go by Star Wars they should already be calling themselves the New [Insert government type] or what have you. Also they got in their position not after years of rebellion sapping their resources but after finding super weapon of immense pwn.

Fun thing I've found: If your ship is about to be destroyed as it jumps, then is destroyed after you select your destination but before you jump, you arrive at your destination and promptly die. Even more, you can repair your ship and you'll be dead while at full health. :P

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

My most fun run must have been burst laser, ion beam bomb + 2x Fire lasers (and 2x rock crew members to teleport into the inferno)
