Turn 12: Berries, Badgers and a steampunk robocop
Wake up and try again.
[2] Nah, still uncomprehensible. You tried a lot of things though, but are still no wiser of how the things actually workd. Maybe it doesn't, at least not in this universe.
Wake up
Tyrin grabbed the nearby scaffholding and pulled himself up after the sleep. He put his free hand on his chest to check if he was now deceased and felt the familiar sutures and dressings. Although feeling lightheaded, he was proud that the doctor did his work so well. Calmness overtook him, but he remembered that the painkillers were still in effect. Though, he had to congratulate him or repay him in anyway necessary, even if the Hypocratic Oath said otherwise.
He decided to stay in the T.M. while everyone else moved about, a sudden jolt of pain would kill him if he tried and drastic moves as the T.M. was still hooked and afloat in the air to the Airship.
It was time to get Serious.
Try to integrate the deactivated Clockwork Guard into the T.M. as a defender, or something else entirely.
"I'll stay back if you all have plans."
[6] You work on the the clockwork guard, opening it's clockwork mind and fideling around with the tiny clockwork computer ships. Eventually you think you've found it. You switch it's friend or foe setting , rewire some other important protocols and finally you wind him up. The clockwork drone walks of goes to stand guard at the door of the T.M.
That's when you remember you forgot to include an off switch. Hope nothing goes wrong
"I think we should save our rations for when we actually need them. Does anyone know how to hunt?"
Search the immediate area for edible fruit and/or berries.
[4] You manage to find some berries and edible muchrooms. At least you think they're edible, as your knowledge of muchrooms focusses more on what the poisonous ones are and how to treat them.
See if any parts of the clockwork stokers are salvageable.
[3] The heads seem to be destroyed, but other parts are fine.
Search for some food, if we don't have any, try to hunt something slow moving with my knives. Cook and eat it.
[6] You found a badger. It seems rather angry.
"Man, I would really like a go at one of those dragons... or failing that, whatever crazy magical weaponary I can lay my hands on..." Rhys says to Andric, "Wanna go meet the locals? I promise that there will be talking before I do any shooting. Maybe we could be of serivce to them, for the right price of course..."
Slowly, carfully, move closer to the town looking for a safe vantage point. Avoid contact with the locals until a safe, non threatening encounter can be "arranged". Make sure to ask the locals about the dragons once freindly relations have been established.
[4] You find a small hill from where you can oversee the town. It 's quite large, with many buildings. There several damaged buildings in the city, but there are 3 that seems to have taken the most damage. One factory, a rather large decorated building, with it's own clocktower(Judging by the families standing around it, and uniforms all the children are wearing, some kind of school) and the mayor's house, which stood at the center of the town.
"Verrückte Dorfbewohner sind meine Spezialität. Don't worry about ze villagers, I have a vay with townvolk.
> Spy on the village a bit more and assess the state of the wounded/dead/alive and the panic level (whether or not new visitors would just be attacked on sight) by sticking to the shadows and keeping low (hooray tribal hunting skills)
[5] You manage to sneak into the town. There doesn't seem to be much panic, and by the way the people are acting and picking up the rubble you judge this isn't their first bombardement. Most of the damage seems to be material, and not many people are hurt. They probable managed to get to shelter in time.
Everyone begins to feel hungy. They should probably eat something soon.Note: I've chosen to take option one, so prepare yourself for fireball tanks and other technomagical hybrids.
