As a kid...

I fell off a playground thing about 6 feet+ backwards and sprained my arm.

A year later I triped over in the playground and broke my arm.

I dunno about running cars so much, because it's been a long time since I unwisely ran around cars : P.

However, I used to play soccer.
On the enemy team, at the beginning of the game I see this guy as big as I am.
I am one of the biggest guys I see play soccer, like people tell me I should do football.

And, pretty much every time we met on that field, we proceeded to smash into each other face-first.

He had the ball! he was supposed to go around!


We did that like five times too.

I didn't really sense it was a "repeating" pattern untill the third time.
but I was like "he totally won't do that again.


And then we did.

Also he was pissed I never got out of his way : P.

I never got consistently good at soccer, but I don't think the coach thought I was doing bad this time.

I got kicked off the soccer team for knocking out one of my goalie's teeth with the ball. From midfield.

Well, technically, I got kicked off the team for laughing about it, but still.

It seems like plenty of people have run into parked cars. I've run into a parked dump truck, again on a bicycle. I wasn't going too fast, though, so I could just continue on my way, but the garbage men looked at me like I was an alien and I felt like a total moron.

One day, while riding my bike to school, I ran into a stop sign. The same one that I pass every day on the way to school.

Just found out today I fell alseep on top of a knife.

It's not so much a "stupid self-hazardous" thing as much as a "WTF was my brain derping?" thing, but one time in college during exam week I had four finals to study for plus about 50 pages total of term papers to write. So I didn't sleep for three days. On the morning of the third day, I was REALLY dragging. So I decided to make a cup of coffee. As I go to put my packets of sugar in the cup, I remember thinking, "Huh....they put the sugar and coffee together in one packet. That's clever."

It wasn't clever. It was soy sauce. I had created coffeeyaki. I do not recommend coffeeyaki (even though I drank it anyways). I will say, the shock of "OMG what is this in my mouth??!?" did work to wake me up.
