I spent some more time in the code mines today, and I think the results were pretty worthwhile, although a new bug has crept in. You may notice an empty white space toward the bottom, which is there because the program somehow managed to miss the canvas entirely. That glyph is somewhere about a thousand pixels south of its friends. So I'll have to fix that at some point.

Looks pretty good. The bottom right glyphs get pretty crowded -- maybe take a look at changing that? They don't look like organic, replicable letters to me.
