Remember, they added an exception for american citizens saying that, while the military MUST arrest terrorism suspects, they are NOT REQUIRED to arrest citizens.

Of course, that does mean that they may choose to arrest you. They just aren't required to.

Don’t be confused by anyone claiming that the indefinite detention legislation does not apply to American citizens. It does. There is an exemption for American citizens from the mandatory detention requirement (section 1032 of the bill), but no exemption for American citizens from the authorization to use the military to indefinitely detain people without charge or trial (section 1031 of the bill). So, the result is that, under the bill, the military has the power to indefinitely imprison American citizens, but it does not have to use its power unless ordered to do so.

I will not vote for Obama. Nor will I vote for a republican. I will vote for someone else, and curse the cowards who waste their votes on the same parties as always.

You can't change the system by voting for the same people.

Obama is probably not going to be the only democrat running for president, so maybe someone else will have a shot.

I doubt that anyone else could win the democratic primary. Even if there was a primary challenger, my problem is not with just Obama. The entire party structure is broken.

Perpetuated by both sides making and keeping laws/regulations that make it hard for outside parties to viably participate. 
Also, the encouragement of the thinking: "Voting for a 3rd party is a wasted vote.  You are better off voting for one of the main parties or don't even bother."  It is a self-fulfilling prophecy...

PTTG?? & freeformschooler: Who will you vote for? I've voted Reform and Green in the past, but those are no longer options for me. The only other third parties I know anything about are based on racist philosophies.
