Oh yes. You and your summons. You and your freaking summons. Don't think I've forgot Staggered Magi RTD.
because... ehhhh, why not? This seems at least somewhat down my ally, and the waiting list is extremely short. Plus, I thought of joining up, before all the spots were taken. Because I honestly thought it would take ages to empty.
Name: Pitonous Ross the Swordman. Alternate: Tarran Dur-dukk the Swordman (draconic name). (Main name is human name, draconic name is only spoken by dragons).
Caste: Male Half-Dragon Human.
Major: Longswords/Long Blades (take your pick).
Minor: Fire Magic.
Equipment: Steel Longsword of Major Unbreaking.
Bio: Pitonous is a curious case of inter-species breeding. His existence is subject to wild speculation. But the reasoning that makes the most sense is this:
Pitonous' father was a dragon named "Zal-Sok Dur-dukk" disguised as a human, who had adultery with his mother, named "Onnett Ross". While it may have worked initially, the result of the inter-species adultery was... shocking.
Pitonous is in the general shape of a human, yes, but he is half golden dragon. Most noticeable is his tail--half as long as a normal dragon's tail, but still long. Next most noticeable thing is his left arm: Vaguely human shaped, scaled, five clawed fingers, and something resembling a wing on the underside. Though he is not capable of actual flight since he only has one wing. Pitonous' head is also half draconic: the back of the right side of his head is scaled, and has short spikes protruding backwards. His right eye is yellow--different from his left eye. Both his legs are a morph between dragon legs and human legs: thinner, longer, and stronger than a human leg, with claws, and the increased length of his legs make him slightly taller than he would have been if he was a normal human. His entire back and his chest are also heavily scaled, though few get to see so. Finally, he has the blood of dragons in him, but most of the organs of a human.
As a human, he is a typical white male in appearance. He is decently muscled, agile, and somewhat intelligent. His hair is blond as his dragon scales, and his human eye dark blue.
Pitonous' personality is also half-and-half. The left side of his mind carries a calm, and thinking human personality, his right a powerful, and brutal draconic personality. Whenever put under stress, excited, angered, annoyed, or greedy, his draconic side appears--more as those things increase. As a human, he has a careful, diplomatic, calm, generous, and nice personality. As a dragon, he has a rash, unforgiving, excited, greedy, and potentially mean personality. Usually, the two personalities act as Pitonous in his whole wishes to act, though rarely the two may conflict, where Pitonous finds himself extremely indecisive. Whichever side is dominant can usually be seen by which of his eyes "shine" more: The active personality's eye usually stands out more.
Pitonous, when he was born, shocked his parents. His father was utterly enraged, and his mother was in absolute shock. His father almost put down Pitonous, but his mother managed to convince him to give young Pitonous a chance.
This did not turn out so well. Pitonous was tolerated (barely) by his human father for roughly five years, before his father just couldn't take it anymore, enraged at both the adultery of his wife and the form of his child. He cast them out of his castle, where his mother was forced to work meager jobs. Pitonous suffered in school: many kids treated him poorly, some called him monster, some called him "Goldy boy". Regardless, this severely deteriorated Pitonous' happiness, and by the time he was old enough to get an apprenticeship somewhere he was an emotional wreck.
Worse. When he searched for jobs, all he got were insults and rejections, for two years. Finally, when he was signing up to be a guard, he was rejected and, out of anger, he pulled out the sword of the person who had rejected him and literally decapitated him.
This forced him to flee the kingdom in it's entirety, to wander the wilds. He had kept the sword he had decapitated the man with, and eventually became a decent mercenary. He spent a few years in this state.
Some time later, he decided to start taking jobs from the king of a kingdom. The job: Slay a golden dragon. He had thought it would be a tough fight, but... when he arrived, the dragon instantly recognized and greeted him. It was Pitonous' biological father, Zal-Sok, who had called Pitonous "Tarran" instead. Pitonous was both mildly shocked and half expecting it. Pitonous, after talking to his father for hours and hours for explanations, finally told his father that he had a job to kill him, but could not now that he knew that the dragon was his father. His father, understanding, decided to be easy on his son: He gave his son an unbreakable sword, then flew far, far away to distant lands after allowing his son to take some of his scales. Pitonous returned from the job and consequently became a frequent mercenary for the king.
Fast-forward a few more years, and he gets a strange creature trying to recruit him... He had to leave his shield and armor, sadly, but kept his favorite sword.
His human father is Jaco Ross. His mother, Onnett Ross. His biological father, Zal-Sok. His stepmother, and Anly Ross. Finally, he has a single unrelated (different mothers and different biological fathers, but same "legal" father) younger brother Gannos Ross.
Tribe: A city in a powerful kingdom called Durrain. The city is called Altross. The kingdom follows typical Medieval kingdom government methods and troop setups, though of course with magic included.
Whew! 4827 characters of Bios. Hopefully I will get in in a year or so. I do believe that's the longest one yet in this RTD.
