You sell socks?
How do you handle the massive trantrums that must surely follow? :P

When my produce picks up, there are literally THOUSANDS. My dwarves practically brew their booze with the socks.

When trading I like to pick a few of their items and then a few of mine with give or take a little profit for them. After I start seeing (trader) is ecstatic with trading I start trading for no profit for them. Trade some more see how they react, if it keeps up do the same thing over and over and over. that or I just trade them some sort of Forgotten beast biscuits worth 76,000 dwarf currency. That'll shut their hippie  pointed elven pie holes up.

Fun fact, upon reclaim, your artifacts are trade-able. Now if you can just find that artifact adamantine crown.........

So, just so i have this clear, Elves WILL declare war on me if i seize their stuff a couple years in a row?
Or if you just really hate <insert race here>.

These are Elves i'm talking about here. Of course i'm gonna make war with them.

On a side note, i just farted and it smells like pizza.

I can see you've been eating your vegetables.

HARHARHAR. I'm such a kneeslapper.
Oops this might have derailed the thread.

Hard to say. On one hand continuing to send caravans results in a massive trade deficit on the other hand dwarves are the physical manifestations of humanities nightmares when they're happy, do you really want to stop being useful to them?

I second this notion. Bogeymen probably tell their kids to not walk around in daylight for fear of dwarves.

:D: Now remember, Little Blaarglerawr, when the morning sun peers up over the horizon, make sure you aren't caught in its gaze.

:(: Why, mommy?

:D: Because... If you are still out... the sun's light will reveal you... expose you to the gaze of anyone and anything that cares to look.

:(: ...

:D: Everything would know of you. Everything would be able to find you. And if that happens, then surely... without a doubt...

:(: *shivers*

:D: *Jumps forward and shines flashlight into face* URIST MCBUTCHER WILL RIP OUT YOUR ENTRAILS WHILE YOU STILL LIVE!

:(: [Screams]

:D: Then he'll use them to make -sausage biscuits-.

:(: [Screams harder]
