In the U.S.A Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. Store Prices are really low so it is a massive day for Christmas shopping. It has sort of become a holiday in it's own right.

Ohh, hah, okay. I don't celebrate holidays, so I've never really been in the whole loop of things. Thanks for explaining it! It's kind of how after halloween, all the un-sold candy goes on a major sale. In my area, they give it out for free afterwards...Mostly to me.
