It'll take more than smoothtalking to convert me for the liberal cause though.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Done aaaaand done.

During the discussion, Bdthemag mentions his multiple lovers. Things quickly go downhill from there...

No, I know how to win him over. I'll just use the 50$ to buy Darvi all of the lemon juice he will ever need.

But there should really be an internet crime squad mod out there.

Hehehe. Lookie here, the guy nailed one of the problems.

Quote from: Former Homeland Security Assistant Secretary and former NSA General Counsel, Stewart Baker, from an article
[On SOPA and PROTECT-IP's DNS-blocking] “block and redirect” is exactly what crooks are doing today to bank customers. If the bills become law, the security system won’t be able to tell the difference between sites that have been blocked by law and those that have been sabotaged by hackers. Indeed, it isn’t hard to imagine crooks redirecting users to sites that say, “You were redirected here because the site you asked for has violated copyright,” while at the same time planting malware on the user’s computer.

Suggestion: Those of us on Bay 12 who are tech-savvy should create a general guide on what steps to take if SOPA becomes law, and how to circumvent its effects until such a time that it is rightfully repealed. It's not a law, not yet.

Not really good at making guides am I. :|
I can say one thing though: DNS blocking is pointless if you have the IP address for the site.

You know what would be funny? Hiring a bunch of undertakers to stop by Congress' door, and inform them that they have an gigantic order of graves and coffins ordered for them; or at least a bunch of shopping/garbage bag bodybags and a derelict sewer, paid in advance with equivalent to a sales tax from every US citizen (affording all the burials, paid by the people).

Undertaker: "I think the country would like a word with you people."

Similar could be done about certain music and movie industries that are also committing to this royal dick move without thinking about the repercussions, and a potential disappearance of their security if (God forbid) it ever becomes law.

Actually, I think Congress seeing a dump truck full of bodybags at their front door should be enough of a message to get across to them. After dumping the truck of the bags, written on the floor of the dump bin would be "We need a word with you." or "We need to talk".

They'd just see it as a plain threat against them instead of a symbolic political statement and expand the PATRIOT Act again.

Yeah, and they'd just make the media spin it all and censor the fact that "We need to talk." was even visible at all, and bring back the whole terror alert thing again.

Why don't we just hack into the government mainframes and spam them with porn (including replacing their desktop backgrounds and everything with it as well)? Distract them or flood them with the 1st amendment. "Consider it a gift from the internet. We enjoy it, why won't you?"

Look, I'm sorry everyone, but the current congress has declared pizza a vegetable. They just recently took time last month to reaffirm the national motto as "In God we trust".

Those are two good examples of what gets bipartisan approval here.
