There is a blank board of 100 tiles, (The end portal room included) and a starting podium. The aim of the game is to get from the podium to the portal room... first. At the start of every turn, I'll roll 8d8. Every player claims a d8 each and moves that many spaces. If they land on a blank tile, they can invent a rule for that tile, which can be pretty much anything (Some rules apply). If you land somewhere which already has a rule, then you follow the instructions on that square. At some point, a player may be brutally killed by creepers or other. If this happens, the pawn will be replaced and someone else can have a go. When you get to the finish line, you have two choices-go to the town of Godsville and become a God, OR go back to the start line and do another lap. If you become a god, you can place tiles anywhere with relaxed rules. The only god at the start is me.
The rules for making tile rules are as follows (those which can be removed when you are a god are marked with a *)
- No tiles that move you more than 10 in either direction are allowed. However, you can move back to the start, regardless of where you are.
- No insta-win/loss tiles. Tiles that change the objective are somewhat fine, depending on what they do.
- No tiles that effect only (a) certain player(s). If you do, I'll rephrase it to be "random player(s)".
- *No "When you pass this tile" tiles. You have to land on them!
- *No hidden status effects-you have to explain them as they are named! (Gods have to PM me this)
