(Yes, this is related to ashton's game. I PM'd him some things, and
is all I'll say about that. still Mortal Engines-themed somewhat as well, since the series is awesome.)
Having escaped out of the city that ate your poor town and finding an abandoned one that was fixable, your group of seven survivors have made a working town and gotten enough food and fuel to get moving at last. But you can hardly remeber what kind of town you used to lead...
Was it a...
Trading town?
- a few coins
- more space to put stuff
- average starting fuel
- average starting food
- average starting metal
- no starting scarcium (you sold it to fix this former pile of junk while still having the coinage left to continue trading eventually)
Hunter town?
- Start with 2 pistols
- no coins
- no metal at start (town is lightly armored, reinforced in one or two places, and has a Crappy battering ram instead)
- low starting food (but still enough to feed all seven of you)
- average starting fuel
or a Roving Farmlands?
- Very wide, not very tall.
- average starting metal
- low starting fuel (you need a better engine than something that was half dead only a little while ago to move this much farm at a decent speed)
- A boatload of starting food
- Generally considered less threatening than your average town

http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=95563.0You can always modify the town later, but I'd been in the mood to keep drawing towns, so I ended up with three towns drawn so you guys get to pick your start this time, i guess.
