Potato potato.

The last game was during the reign of Pope Innocent VIII (1432 – July 25, 1492).

We're still talking about someone who is over 150 years old, here.

Damn. My mistake, again; the Pope-drop was made early in the setup's inception, and I didn't check the birthdates. The last game was in the mid 17th century, though the backwater setting pushed the effective date further back. We are now in the late 17th century, nearing the 18th.

Fortunately, I think that accounts for all the mistakes now.

Ok, fine. You are off the hook, simple. Unvote

Well, not off the hook. But your blatant lies have been confirmed as truth by the GM, so I don't really have anything against you.

Think:  I see.  Do you think the flavor claims will catch anyone out?

Ottofar:  Why would we need to lynch you?

Simple:  Older or younger brother?

Dariush:  What did you learn from last game that will be useful here?

Dariush: Have you inherited something from your wizard ? What do you think about the bells ?
What do you mean, 'inherited'? No, I don't have any flavor coincidicing with the last one. Is yours?

Don't have a slightest idea what do bells have to do with anything.
Good morning, Dariush. Choose two people to be your scum partners, and explain why.
Toaster and Jim because they're awesome. Which information did this question or my answer give you?

Jack, why did you feel so eager to jump forward to explain about me and Nuke?

Jim, why did you ask Urist I about the vagueness and shortness of his flavor, but didn't question Think, even though he posted even less?

Dariush:  What did you learn from last game that will be useful here?
1) Flavorhunting is better at LYLO than scumhunting; at other times the reverse is true; 2) Don't overthink things.

NUKE, who do you fear most in this game?

NUKE: Answer.

Heh heh heh heh heh.

Ok, you know what? I'm feeling charitable.

I will answer your question, provided you tell me the following first: What you hope to learn from my answer.
I expect a well reasoned and thought out response, which accurately reflects your train of thought. If it sounds sensible, I will answer your question

Alternatively, you can concede that it is just a random question and you have no idea what you would gain from asking it. In this case, I will not answer your question.

It was in fact an RVS question, but since asking it I've seen a purpose toward which your answer can be used. Telling you what this purpose is will negate its usefulness, so I'm not saying.

Simple:  Older or younger brother?
Younger. (Both Ockham Razor and here,i'm starting to get suspicious :P) Also my brother/old character died recently.

Dariush: Have you inherited something from your wizard ? What do you think about the bells ?
What do you mean, 'inherited'? No, I don't have any flavor coincidicing with the last one. Is yours?

Don't have a slightest idea what do bells have to do with anything.
You're not even trying. I'm (probably) brother of my old character and i said that in the same post as this question...

Nuke: Something i forgot to ask earlier : Do you support full flavorclaims ?

Hey, yeah, flavour claims. I love me some flavour claims.

Why are you doing this?
You mean why am I laughing, or why am I laughing like that?
The former: You are funny.
The latter: Its how I laugh.

I have time for a quick flavorclaim:

I am Julian Hutchinson, a bartender in a popular district watering hole.  I don't have my own home, instead I have a room in the tavern in a wing reserved for staff which is why the establishment has non-stop hours. I also have a fondness for poetry, I have several scattered around my room.

Urist McArathos has been prodded.

A votecount will come once you are out of the RVS stage.

Liked or trusted? One tends to lead to other, but nobody really trusts anybody they don't like, but you can at least sort of like somebody you don't trust. I think being liked is more useful though. To me, it means one less town person that everyone is trying to chase after, hehe.
I'm more or less satisfied with that answer. It pings my meter a little when someone claims town without being accused otherwise--but then, the red text is a bit accusatory, so there ya go. (Been so long since the OP, I forgot that red text was how one votes around these parts. Thought it was just an attention-grabber. Apologies. -.-;)

Time Blossom, what made you decide to pick the game up again? And why this game in particular?
The first one: when I start getting involved with a forum, I tend to gravitate towards the forum games section. And since this one has a Mafia sub-forum, I thought, well, why not?

As to the second, it was open. I'm pretty sure it was the only open game at the time? Also, the flavor seemed interesting; not vanilla, but not too wacky. Seemed like a good way to get back into the game without getting either bored or overwhelmed. So far, I've been right about the first part; we'll see about the second one, I suppose. ^.^

Here's one for you, Jim: Say you're scum. What would be more important to you, killing townies or killing third parties?

And, Think: what is your primary method to keep from seeming suspicious?

Okay.

I am Giles Oxenbrigg.
I work in a textile factory and father two kids.
I have no training, or otherwise worthwhile characteristics.
I am illiterate.

I work in a cotton factory, and the air is... not good. So I have a cough.
Also, my hearing mustn't be good, due to the noise from the machines.

The kids are 12-year old girl, working as a chimney sweep, and a 10-year old boy, working as a hurrier in a coal mine.

We together make barely enough for living, which includes food and rent. Maybe some sweets for Halloween, and something small for Christmas.

I had a wife, but the factorywork was too hard, and she died of pneumonia.

I'm in the witch-hunt because I gotta blame something, you know?

Ottofar:  Why would we need to lynch you?

If people find me scummy enough to lynch, we can just extend the day and I'll commit suicide by not posting.
So you'll never have to.

Blossom, if you were a cop, and got a guilty result n1, would you claim right away? You wouldn't know if there was any protective roles around.
