"Carrot, I do care.  If I lost Friesden, I don't know-"

At this point, Charity bursts in, demanding an explanation.  I jump a bit at her sudden entrance, but stay on my bed.  I do, however, bow my head to her.

"Hello Countess Charity.  I am no longer fit to perform my duties; physically or mentally, I fear."

[The Master]

Carrot just continues to leave, tears steadily flowing down his face.

[Khenal]

I stumble out of bed as I realize Carrot is really going to try to leave.

"Carrot, wait!"

[The Master]

Carrot ignores Khenal's voice and continues to leave.

[KingStrongbeard]

Charity calming down at this point, takes several deep breaths from having run all the way here. She continues to ignore Carrot. "Leave Carrot for a minute Khenal. Khenal, I wouldn't trust anypony with this job more than you. And what do you mean mentally? What has happened? I've seen you best demons with your mind. What could effect you that badly."

(Has Charity been told about the poisioning? If yes then she also says the following, without pausing.)

"And I realize that the posioning might take you off your hooves for awhile but we have several great doctors here you'll be back on your hooves in no time. You don't need to resign just take a few days or weeks off. You'll be fine."

At this point she finally stops ranting enough that somepony else can get a word in.

[Khenal]

I slump in defeat as Charity blocks my path to Carrot.

"One got in, Charity.  He got in!  I've destroyed and sealed him several times, but he keeps coming back!  I...I almost killed Friesden because of his influence!  I should be in a cell, not my room!"

Carrot is now outside and is looks back one last time.
"G-g-good bye..." He says while sobbing.

[KingStrongbeard]

"One...got inside. Oh, I...I see. Yes, that makes sense. I assume you want to be completely removed from the guard then? That's a shame. Do you have anypony in mind as a replacement then?"

[Dsarker]

Friesden puts her wing around Khenal. "We'll get through this, my love."

[Khenal]

"Isos.  She has a good head on her shoulders and a good family.  Not to mention she can wield Goodsnarled like none other."

I lean into Friesden's touch, encouraged by her words and presence.

Ya, the one who actually has an adamantine artifact weapon is the only one Khenal trusts to stand against daemon influence.  I only know the name because of the transcribing I'm doing right now

Carrot is stepping into the thicket of the untamed jungle.

Friesden leans back into Khenal.

"Isos, Okay, I'll have it done. I'm not going to lock you up though. Think of the PR nightmare that would be and you seem to be under control at the moment. If you really think you're dangerous. Talk to the new Captain and it'll be her decision on what to do with you."

Info on Isos if she becomes important. She is an earthpony mare who is married to Tunur our armorer and has an earthpony foal and a newborn Pegasus foal. Also, as mentioned she is a knife fighter, who wields the Adamantine dagger Goodsnarled the Principle of Slowing an artifact, made my Ironya.

"Where he goes, I go too."

[Khenal]

"PR nightmare?  Hardly.  Everypony has to at least suspect something is wrong with me by now.  But, you're the Countess, and I'm not the Captain of the Guard anymore, so I'll accept what you decide.  Though, could you please send a few of the Skyguard after Carrot?  Please?  He said he wants to leave Glitterglen, and I think he actually might."

I start to struggle back to my bed, before wondering if it's actually still mine.

"Um, will I need to get different chambers?"
