DB: Explore the area around your house, try to make contact with those damned ponies.

Sounds good. The lush rolling fields that surround your home, however, are separated from you by a waist high fence around your home. Normally, this would be no problem at all, but, somehow, despite your best efforts, you cannot get over it. It would appear that some magical force has rendered it insurmountable. Weird.

Two ponies notice you, however, and trot up to you. The orange one addresses you, while her deep blue companion remains silent.

"Hey there! My name is Twinkle Star! And this is my friend, Midnight Stroll! It's nice to meet you. Would you like to be friends?"

Oh, and here comes your philosopher sprite. It seems he wants a word.

BM: Do a sweet flash animation where DB, RL, and AL all get talked to by their sprites.

You wish. I don't even have flash animator.

RL: Mess around with the gear in your house, then sit down for a chat with Snakesprite.

You mess around with some of your stuff, but you mostly just end up littering your home with more of those cruxite dowels. Also, you've worked out that the punch designix has something to do with the codes on the back of your captcha cards. It seems your sprite wants to talk to you about something though.

PA: More Baseball!

This pitch is clean, but fast, coming right through your strike zone. Roll!

A good line drive. The ball sails past your father, denting the dry wall behind him. Well, it won't be the first time you've needed to call a plasterer.

He throws another pitch.

(9,1)+5 = 15?
I'm not sure what the 1 does Does it mean a insta-fail or what?

Rolling a 1 is never an insta-fail in this system. In fact, two ones is actually a fairly good roll, as you can attempt to confirm the crit and perform a Brutal Affront.

Of, course, in this case-

PA: Swing and miss.

Why would yo- Oh dammit, there it goes. One strike for you, you guess.

PA: Call the shot. Be the Babe.

Gutsy. Your father nods grimly, and throws the ball, sending it hurtling past you.

Or so he would have thought. Your bat connects, knocking the outer covering of the ball off, leaving the innards of the ball to smash through the designated window.

Dammit. You really should stop breaking things. Your dad wanders off to get the phone. Luckily, the place you buy your windows from is on speed-dial.

GK: Inspect the deadly warrior.

Okay. It's lacking somewhat in details, but its shape and equipment definitely lead you to believe that this is a Spartan. Made of that weird-ass stuff from the cruxtruder. It doesn't have any obvious joints, so maybe it can move without needing them? Or the top layer is flexible? Something, anyway.

It has a helmet, breastplate, sword, spear, and shield all actually separate from the 'body', being held (or worn) items.

Hang on a second. The shield has only one, wide strap. Traditionally, the spartan shield has two- One narrow, and one wide, so the whole forearm could be used. You wonder if-

This line of thought is cut short as the spartan swings his shield at your face. Luckily, you manage to dodge on instinct.
