And now I have to shoehorn in an explantion for our characters trolling themselves from the future.

The how more than the why, of course.
They picked up a leaked version of Trollian, given to them by a group of mysterious trolls...

Your drunk posts continue to baffle me.

I think we should Abridge some of the times people put in to things like 50 hours or 33 hours. Makes a whole lot more sense then 200 something hours.

Or, y'know, a Pesterchum update/custom patch.

Answer: Time has no meaning within the Medium. So Pesterchum is making wild guesses.

The lesson here is that such shenanigans are even funnier in retrospect.

I love the weapon making rules. Real DnD should have as good ones.

Yes, especially future-RL's stuff showing up as current or past because her Pesterchum sucks.

As a guy who plays in a 4th ed group, I agree whole-heartedly.

Edit: Bd, could you choose a card for the sylladex? We have two level one cards not chosen yet (fruit gushers{health restoration} and beagle puss aegis{possible damage reduction}), or any of the cards already selected may be chosen again. Once you do, we can start.

I decided that we have eight cards already, I don't have to exercise GM prerogative to stick in a ninth.

If one of us draws a card, can the others not get it?

That is an excellent question, actually.

The pdf is frustratingly vague on that point, in that it doesn't even come up. Maybe I should shoot the question to the guy spearheading the project. Maybe later.

In any case, the most sensible thing (to me) would be to have each card available to everyone. For now, I will use a d8 to assign numbers to each card, and then roll it whenever someone needs to draw, after having flushed their hand. Even if a card is already in use, it can be drawn. Having extra copies of a card just makes it more likely to draw.

He went to bed. It is 1 am where he is.

Only the other hand if we just go it's not like we can go too far until he gets back anyway.
