My Name is Alath Urolerib, Temporary Mayor of this Place.
Our Previous Mayor, Lloyd Fisher, has seemingly disappeared, to whereabouts Unknown.
I was given His Place until the New Year.
Following some 'Suspicious' Activity, after the Death of the one they called "SHADE", some of the Nobles became Suspicious of the Man.
And rightly so.
Upon finding a Locked Door, some ways Underground, a Group of Us forced our way inside.
And found this.
Its a fucking Hall of Death, a-typical of the...
Helms of Imprisoning. A mostly Human Cult of Worshippers, to a God of sorts by the Name, "Armok".
People are entrapped within the Cells, where they are Tortured and Starved and Dehydrated until Death, whilst the Acolyte, in this case our Former Mayor, would stand up above, and Watch from above.
Eight Living we counted inside.
And at least Twelve Dead.
But who knows how many more. In the Year that this Man has been in Office, He had full Freedom to wander this place.
And what if He isnt the only one? It is not uncommon for these types to travel together.
Which comes back to two things.
The Death of 'SHADE', and the Human Invasion.
FURTHERMORE, The Former Mayor, Sirian, is nowhere to be found. And His Bedroom in the Catacombs is Inaccessible.
Was 'SHADE' Murdered, or was 'SHADE' a Cultist? Were the Humans here to Steal, or were THEY Acolytes?
I have Read over Fishers Journal, and found that He Spoke of Engaging the Enemy Himself. But I was there. He was with Us when we went out. He was NOT there during the Conflict.
This, in addition to the ridiculously Regal Residence He holds, with goddamn ADAMANTINE FLOORS in the Throne Room, more than Justifies Us wanting to find this Man.
Weve also found a Corpse, down in the Magma Forges.
In Addition, We believe He has Murdered others in the Caverns.

There were Reports of a 'Forgotten Demon', Swarms of Monstrosities from Deep Underground, and 'Reapers', and whatnot.
But where? I see no 'Forgotten Beast, Demon, Whathaveyou' Corpse. Or even Remains! But a Squad of Soldiers went down there. And One of them Died.
The Hall leading into the Cavern is bathed in Blood. And as we know, Injured and Maimed folk have made their way back up from there before. And how could Three Separate Miners 'Discover' those Holes into... That Place... With the Screaming.
In any Case, I am going to try and set things right.

Oh, also, I didnt so much cause any of this. Remember earlier, I said there was still a Threat, but it would be crazy stupid OOC Knowledge to have any Idea of it, but that it was only a Small Threat? Yeah. Suffice to say, I checked the Legends and a few other things before I started. Suffice to say, those Caverns are a bloody Death Trap. Seriously.
