Well, you can't technically see it either. Just the heat it gives off through the algae.

Float closer to it and cautiously poke a tentacle in it's hiding place to test if it is hostile or not.

I hear a piranha is good eating.  I have a spear; I'll be fine!
The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

I'll laugh if its one of those spiky ball creatures and all we do is get Stab x1000 in return for charging it.

First off, howdy!

Second, I hope it's ok for me to recommend NOT killing the creature immediately. We should attempt to assess its threat level. If it's food [harmless] rather than !!food!!, I recommend educating our progeny in the fine art of genocide.

I like his style, Edio.

Welcome to the club, where you will watch the ascendancy of a complex microorganism who will one day threaten the stability of the galaxy itself. ;)

Oh, Edio, do you sti-gabla-gadafagi?"

I think I just had a stroke. lmao.

Harmless or dangerous... We should stab it! To death!
Because where would be the fun, when you're just killing harmless stuff?

I still vote for ASSIMILATING the Algae.

(even more passive food production ftw!?)
