What do you guys think about a 'dodge' ability? At first I was thinking anyone with at least one point in gunslingin' or knifeslingin' could have a chance to dodge a successful shot at them (like diving into a trough or something comedic like that), but then I realised, since the wagoneers don't have gun skill I wouldn't be able to give them their promised -1 to avoiding bullets. So, I propose everyone should get -some- dodge ability, but it's like a meta-skill that's directly tied to gunslinging or knifeslinging?

More simply: So, dodging is a (non-selectable) ++ skill, but anyone with gunslinging or knifeslinging counts as having points in it. Thoughts?

Okay, I added that. Also, I made it so the first rank in a skill affecting dodging merely removes the -2 penalty, whilst further ranks add full bonuses, like a +++ skill.

Bio: Walks-on-Leaves was born into the Kayahne tribe, who had roamed the southern outskirts of the Black
Forest and its surrounds for many, many generations, their legends speaking of how the spirits of the trees
roamed freely in the moonlight.
However, unfortunately for the Kayahne, their ancestral home just happened to be one mighty fine piece of
prime cattle-run real estate. When Alistair Merrick and his boys were on the warpath, expanding their
boundaries out over neighboring cattlemen, they didn't think twice about surrounding the poorly-armed
Indians at night and ruthlessly gunning them down. As far as he knows, Ezhno was the only one to make it out
alive, and the experience has left him a little... Unbalanced.
He agreed to lend Amos Dryman his knowledge of the forest; while his tribe never went very deep, he knows
more about the place than most. And he doesn't have much else to do...

However, Yoink, I do believe you forgot the most important foodstuffs of all - water. Should we just assume we have water, or will you add it? Also, how many lbs are you planning on us having to eat per day, and how long is the trip planned to take?
