>Ignore the rest of the stuff for now and search the room for a power source for our new friend the computer. Surely there must be something in here...
Indeed there is! A quick search of the room turns up a power outlet, compatible with the computer you brought with you. You plug it in and try booting it up... oh look, windows. Yeah, that might take a while.
>observe schematics
Most of them seem to be blueprints for the humanoid robot displayed on the screen. Others show a number of other robots, of varying design. One looks like a military design, essentially just a gun on wheels. Another appears to be some sort of spy-bot, a tiny flying machine with a massively complex sensor array. And another.... hey, it's you! And there's a large red x over the schematic... Says something about the project being scrapped.
>check for "paradox_ignore.exe" in your system
Nope. In fact, you only seem to have two executables stored at the moment. Adapt.exe, and a second too heavily corrupted to read. Well, unless &1f^g%.exe was SUPPOSED to be it's name.
> Run adapt.exe, passing [metal plates+drill] as the first parameter and the string "wings" as the second parameter.
Hmm... Seems adapt.exe only accepts one parameter at the moment, naming the target. On the other hand, it seems the program accepts almost anything as a target. Machines, programs, even yourself. Though that last option causes it to raise an error saying something about "Additional data required".
