>ADAPT(target=grasper, iPoint=propulsion, iLevel=merge)
Well, that didn't go so well. Sure, you have something that could be called legs now, but it's even more awkward than before. Like trying to walk on your hands.
>ADAPT(target=sensors, iPoint=input custom, iLevel=modify)
The program asks for a definition of the custom input you want as you select the second option. Not too sure what sort of format it wants there though...
>ADAPT(target=sensors, iPoint=arm, iLevel=modify)
Your drill-arm changes slightly, a few simple sensors appearing on it. Not exactly the most useful change, seeing as they will probably get shredded as soon as you turn the drill on...
>adapt.exe that schematic of the spy drone as a deployable tool
>survey the area with it
Hmm... while it might be possible to modify yourself to make the drone independent, you aren't sure how to do so. Gotta pick a body part to replace, and "not actually attached" isn't one of them.
>ADAPT(target=Schematic_humanoid_robot_legs,ipoint=propulsion,ilevel=Replace)
Ooh, that works much better. Each of your grasper-legs is quickly replaced by a smaller version of the legs from the humanoid robot you saw displayed, slightly modified for quadrupedal movement.
>Search for other vehicles
>Inspect surroundings
Your new legs, short as they are, are able to traverse the rubble much more easily, and you soon find your way onto a main road. All the surrounding buildings are just as badly damaged though, and there don't seem to be any vehicles around.
