Even if I'd want to, the throne room is full of guards. I couldn't do anything.

Speaking of which... shouldn't Trubaldsome's throne room have guards as well? Haven't they noticed Sir Taric, the hated Butcher of Miring, who every Mirish person has probably seen and thrown fruit at by now, or the other Elbrethian fanatic fighting/scheming with him?

This is why I insisted two rolls be made to see whether or not they fight and/or are caught.
