To be fair, that means Fnatic is in the money.

It's still live ATM, but so far we had:

* Basically reverse captains mode. One team's picker barges into the other team's pod, seizes their captain's machine, and starts picking heroes.

* Amazing heroes. Dendi Pudge, Axe, Omniknight, Sniper, Ursa, SK, and Meepo.

* Commentators realizing that the pod doors are open, so both teams can hear them. Proceeds to guide Dendi's hooks and provide advice.

* Puppey pauses galore. Mostly when Puppey gets killed.


If you were expecting a tactical match between the best players in the world, you're in trouble. If you're expecting a crazy match with the best players in the world swearing at each other, though...

It was also kinda successful, once he started getting CS. Still, not as good as n0tail's Meepo. And it might've been better if Chuan hadn't been paired with 4 terrible feeders.

Screw that noise, Game 2 was positively amazing.

Pretty much everyone thought the game was over when LGD seized that incredible early lead. But a bit of overly-aggressive play from LGD, a few brilliant moves from [A], and suddenly the game spins around. Seriously, if LGD (a strong team who normally excels at winning late after an early-game loss) can't beat [A] with that enormous of an early lead, who can?

It's like Na'vi's thing of always losing game 1 but winning 2 and 3.

I'm very happy that the main event has been overall far more exciting than the prelims.

IG's playing disappointingly. DK walked all over them game 1, and game 2's closer, but still towards DK.

So far, Game 2 has been stereotypical Asian Dota - lots of farming, nobody willing to risk a fight that they might lose, and only 15 kills on the board after almost 45 minutes of play. Interesting for tacticians and theory-crafters, boring as heck for anyone interested in high-octane games.
