Or at least at some point before. I swear I've seen people here with those stupid dragon egg things in their sigs.

Pictures in signatures were always there; they were just disabled by default in the user preferences.

Huh? Image signatures haven't changed. If the default user preferences have changed, that's all that's changed about them.


I personally never liked the offsite avatar hosting. It results in people having avatars of ridiculously inappropriate size (in terms of filesize or resolution), and I find something inherently shady about the fact that people can use their avatars and signature images to load up PHP scripts that do totally arbitrary things as if you were looking at an external website. I doubt there's much actual cause for concern there, but on principle I don't much like the fact.

Yeah, that's what's really bugging me. My ability to pull down the bottom edge (theoretically provided by the forum software) is entirely non-functioning, and my ability to grab the corner and resize (provided by Chrome) is unavailable because the corner in question is off in the far distance of infinity.

The image thing is annoying, but hopefully bay12 people will be responsible enough to not use it except in the very rare case where there might actually be a valid reason for it. Although given people's tendency to abuse the existing text function by cramming a bunch of quotes in their, perhaps it's too much to hope for.

I don't see anything different about the font, and the text box is probably just a bug. "I just upgraded the forum to SMF 2.0, but the process has broken some of our optional packages (spoilers, etc.). There might be some downtimes until it is all fixed. I'll be continuing to work with that until it's handled one way or another, with some help, although I don't anticipate getting it sorted out tonight."
