Turn 4:Not Working Well But Not Dead!
Grumble and head to the surface

edit: Make sure to bring mining gear
(3) You lug the gear to the surface, and begin scouting the cliff face that the facility is built into, but your lack of all things mining stops you from noticing any thing or note.  Though you could always scout for a specific color or shape and mine that, you just won't know what it is until you put it in the atom forge.

(5)  The scarecrow stops and cocks it's head at you,  "Hummmaan  then you muzzt be a farmer *click*  Well then you will be happy I kept your farm well for you farmer"  It waves it's hand at the small plot, overrun with weeds and evidence that it's obviously stepped on half of the plants, but it does still have a number of things that look vaguely like real farm plants.  "Cannnzze I come with you faaarmer, my shed broke down.... at least 300 seasons ago and I need repairz."  You set about collecting what looks like seeds from a half dozen plants, you can't see anything noticeably edible among them but maybe you've just missed the fruit cycles.

Take the rifle, Tell Jack about the labs then head topside.
(4)  You collect the battlerifle and tell Jack about the rather good situation about the Lab, then you head up. Nothing of any great note catches your attention.  Wait why is there a strange person/thing with Jake.

Find Sami, and give her the Battle Rifle, and ammo then search the facility again for anything that could be used for parts, or scrap metal.
You hand her the rifle as she passes you on her way topside, she tells you that the labs are well stocked with various chemicals though all the classification systems have been destroyed.  (5)  You complete an amazingly through search of the facility, and come up with nothing of use, though you find a number of places where power lines have been damaged, maybe a new room or machine will show up if you can fix them?

I don't think planting confused smiley faces is a good idea.   Naw I know what you mean.  Also I promise this won't semi-die anymore, updates atleast every two days I swear :)

Turn 5: Wiring Things without proper Gear Causes Explosives
Head back into the Facility and start the power line repairs.
(5)  You expertly begin working on the power lines, bypassing the worse sections by tying different wires together.  Before long you have most of the broken lines reattached.  (1)  You are working on the final section, when the wires fizzle and snap (1)  The entire section explodes in a violent ball of flame and loosed energy.  You are thrown down the hall and slam into the wall.

-10 repairman exp gained

Go back to the base and plant the   ??? seeds and see if anyone can repair Mr. Roboto
(3)  You move down to the hydroponic farm, the robotic scarecrow following you the entire time.  You go to a row of planting trays and lay out the seeds in the microfiber mush that the water and nutrients flow through (3,3,4,5,3,3,4,5,6,2,2,4)  two of them fall apart when you put them in the trays, apparently they were rotten.  Though three of the others catch your attention, they seem to be growing almost immediately.  One of the three even sprouts a leaf after just a few seconds.  (6)  You look all over the base, but it seems that the two people who could repair the scarecrow are busy.  However as you pass the mechanic's workshop a multi-armed device in the corner lights up.

Berate myself as an idiot and look for documents and self help books about mining in the facility
(6)  You turn around to go back to the facility when you notice something tapped to the underside of the mining laser, you peel back the tape and find a small users manual.  After spending a good deal of time reading through it, you find a final section noted "Identifying Minerals".  (3)  The section proves to be largely worthless, it does however tell you the basics of looking for mineral deposits.  You finish the manual and then look about a bit (6) there seems to be a large section of reddish-brown crystalline material down to the south of the facility, in a small cropping on the edge of the forest and cliffs.
Lvl 1 mining gained

Set to work fixing the facility where it is damaged.
(5)  You begin working quickly, before long all the sections that Sami has overlooked or missed, you have repaired.  You finish connecting the last the wires, and suddenly hear a bang and a groan.  You race to the sound and manage to find Sami lying against the fall, she's bleeding pretty badly.  (5)  The wiring seems to have triggered some type of system, that was set off by the bang.  A loud siren is wailing over hidden speakers, and you can hear clicking and whirring in the walls.
