SAS modules help A LOT, hit T to put them perma-active.  Fins help too, surprisingly.  Bottom-heavy rockets tend to be much more stable, the more weight is near the tip, the easier it is to wobble.  I've started successfully putting ships into rather unstable orbits.

What is this game of which you speak? It sounds like it has customisable spaceships, which instantly makes it good.

In other news, I'm in Malaysia, and I keep thinking how funny it would be to scratch the first two letters off all the 'Tourist Information' signs.

Kerbal Space Program. Pretty fun.

And actually I have been using the SAS. Multiple actually, dunno if that actually helps. the bottom heavy thing also comes into play.

In unrelated news, Stormwind sucks because the population is immense at all hours and crashes WoW for me and my dwarves are stupid and can't defeat an army of trolls 10 times their size, twice their number, and with superior gear. Even when legendary and with masterwork steel equipment.

Also, cats!

Did you play back during vanilla? Back when the only horde AH was in Org? Oh god, it was horrible. But IF was even worse. I'd go there and regularly have like 5 frames per minute or worse.

Also, YAY! KITTIES!

I played in Vanilla!

I don't remember there being only one AH. I remember how the only postbox was next to the bank in every city and you'd have to try to find a tiny gap to fit your cursor through to be able to use it.

I also remember trying to avoid Outland because my poor little laptop couldn't take the extra polygons there.

Also, no heroics, arenas, or flying mounts, mounts at 40 and 60, confusing meeting stones that didn't work, no achievements, badly placed zeppelins, no quest locations on the map, no pet interface, and other things that I can't remember right now because I haven't played for over a year...

I concur with the feeling of not playing for over a year. i just got a new account. Chinese bastards got my other one or something.

I was doing a little !!SCIENCE!! in WoW to see if I could find pink elekks by getting drunk. I failed spectacularly to produce the desired results while spending 3-4 gold on the best booze available to get smashed. True dwarven spirit coming from a human rogue.
Further testing will commence later because I'm short on cash once again and I've come to believe the pink elekks effect was brought on by a specific holiday/festival related drink i was drinking at the time, specifically from the brewfest varieties.
I only ever got one screenshot of it:

I was also amused that they added a new effect to being drunk: you vomit once you get smashed and continue drinking.

The pink Elekks are only there at Brewfest. There's one outside each city.

Of course, that may have changed in the time since I last attended Brewfest.

I just had a wonderful idea: I am going to build my bedrooms about ten z-levels above ground out of glass, that way every dwarf can enjoy the wondrous view of the elves and their trees. And the Bronze Colossus rending them asunder.

Ensure that the ceiling is another z-level composed of a magma reservoir, and that it can be distributed to the bedrooms and drained as needed. you know, as a light source to make the elves a little more visible since their beards can't actually sense anything through the glass.

I certainly would not enjoy a train ride like that. Could hit a black bear and suddenly BLOOD EVERYWHERE. And possibly damage to the train if it was a particularly heavy-set bear.

I think the bear's more likely to hijack the train.  That BLOOD EVERYWHERE isn't bear blood...

Actually it is.

It's an easy mistake to make.

It would be rather strange if you had a picnic in the forest, unaware of the train track, and then suddenly train appears seemingly out of nowhere and drives over your picnic sandwich.
