Hunt and butcher. Perhaps get a nice little operation set up for the butchering.

Azen grabs some rations for the rest of the day's work, and gets to tree chopping.
Another two trees are brought in before he beds down for the night, with a full stomach.

Sandow rounds up the slime dogs and the cavern rat and sets them in the small pit. They don't seem very disturbed by the change of scenery.
He then gathers up the deer bones and guts, and cooks them up with some more stalks. He result is stew much like the last batch, though this is slightly less substantial. By now the daylight has lessened, so Sandow goes off to bed.

Gethor decides that the alcohol supply is running low, and so writes a declaration:
"Due to the dwindling supplies of alcohol non-fighting dwarf shall only have one ration of wine per day, the rest being substituted by water. Fighting dwarves shall enjoy the full potion as they shall be less prone to drowsiness. In addition, no cooking shall involve wine. This shall be in place until we have a steady supply of alcohol."
Tacking it onto a wall, he feels satisfied and grabs a barrel to start brewing.
The surface mushrooms are mashed and sealed with the hopes that they contain a natural yeast, and are left to ferment. In three days the product will be ready to taste.

Nevyn takes a moment to take stock of number of logs before going out, counting seven fresh, unprocessed logs, and a pile of refined logs that wouls add up to one normal log.
Hefting his axe, he goes to work, felling three logs and returning them to camp. Before sleeping, he notices that Azen has brought in two more logs, bringing the total up to twelve.

Zazit begins smoothing the stone floor of each room, completing three rooms and carving images of sleeping dwarves beside the doorways. Working later into the night than the other dwarves, he completes the fourth room before going to sleep.

Tholtig continues to make stone blocks, completing two though one hunk of stone is lost.
She feels as though she's learned from her mistakes, and won't be shattering anymore stones from now on.

Myit butchers the buck by the river, gaining more meat than from the previous deer. He also salvages the skull and antlers, though the skin is still a lost cause.

With the day's work done the dwarves sleep.
In the morning they are hungry and thirst as always, except Azen who had eaten the night before.

5 Guts, 5 Deer Bones, 3 Cavern Stalks lost.
13 Fine Stew gained.
1 Stone Rum and 1 Trecker's Lunch lost.
5 logs gained.
3 stones lost
2 Stone Blocks gained.
1 Paper lost.
1 Fermenting Barrel gained.
Deer Corpse lost.
8 Prepared Deer Meat, 8 Prepared Deer Guts, 5 Deer Bones, 1 Deer Skull, and 1 Antlers gained.

Wait, we're out of stone? That was fast...

Tholtig glanced around- she'd used the last of the stone. Blinking in surprise, she considered what she should do with herself now.

Noticing the pile of wood and coal, she considered setting up glassworking operations. Probably too soon, but a few glass items wouldn't hurt, right? Better to ask the others first. They also needed a carpenter- she could do that, if no one else wanted to.

"So, who's going to be making our beds? I can do it, if nobody else wants the job. I could also turn some of it into glass, if we've got nothing better to do."

"Considering we are out of stone, we shall tell those miners to resume doing real business and not smoothing."

Gethor fills up a few barrels with water, give them to the non-military dwarves, then eat some of the stew. Afterwards he scan the "safer" portion of the cave for anything edible, preferably brewable. Then he went off to farming.

"Well, I would have been mining, only someone took my pick, which i bought, yesterday, and i had nothing else to do!"

Zazit shall reclaim his pick, and carve out a large room near the moth of the cave, suitable in size for commerce.

I think we should only eat in the evening, seems to be a more practical method...

Counting it at 12, thats 8 more needed before he is satisfied, to have 20 at all times is the goal here. Its more then enough without drowning in it. He Grabs his Meal and Drink, the Low Grade Stew and Medium Grade Drink. Continues Cutting down trees...

Sandow crafts bone armor in the following priority: Helmet, breastplate, Leggings, attempting to save the nutritious bone marrow.

can i make a bone door or a bone cot or spikes?

Sandow crafts the loose bone, with food our first concern covered, sandow works on the forts security. Getting everyone equipped seems like a good start.

Tholtig makes a carpenter's shop using a stone block, then begins making beds for each member.
