Drop onto shopkeeper. He'll offer you a price with a Yes/No prompt.

It just crashes after the startup screen for me even though I meet all the requirements stated on the Steam page. So support thread or forum thread on Steam for the game yet.

Bummer, cuz wanted to play it on my laptop, on my big gaming machine I got other games I am more likely to play.

By the way, guys, forging is worth it for the aliminium armour alone. It's got a minor malus on spellcasting, but it's got no dodge negatives or anything of that sort. It's pretty damn good, in fact.

EDIT: This game would be so awesome if it had sprites for armour. I would pay for a DLC with armour sprites, in fact. How about you guys? :p

I would pay for any DLC that had a ton of content. I wanna support this dev.
But yes, armor sprites would be awesome.

Wait. Steam didn't report any update in the Dredmor news. What else has come with this update that lets you sell stuff nicely.

Also, I just found out that you CAN make items without having the recipe.

I'm guessing surely it can't be too high, as I've seen someone bet Dredmor on moderate at level 14. So I don't know.

i guess the max level is the level when you have all skills. but i guess you "could be able" to level more and just get hp and stats or so.

the game has tons of potential with DLC, maybe a female character? or a customizable character from a few faces, hairstyles... but its pretty bound to that guy with all teh gimmiks etc.. so i doubt they add mroe characters.

but visible equiment (helmet, armor, boots) would definately be nice to see.

This was all answer in the recent blog's FAQ. A lot of it is pretty unfeasible, but a female character is high priority for a later edition, if they can get it.

What on earth are you supposed to do when you find a monster party with 100 monsters all moshpitting in one room? Even if I run, I only manage to escape for a couple turns before my unfortunate demise...
On lvl2? run. I actually managed to smash shut the door on the last one i found.
On lvl3, if you cleared lv1 and 2, you should be able to manage in a bottleneck or by pulling a few at a time and kiting them as your skills are ready. Works for my Hand to hand Vampire guy at least.

Also, Vampires are terribly useless. 4hp heal from corpses and 3hp a hit vs 10+hp a hit from monsters and unability to reg from anything other than potions... not worth it, doesnt compare to Stonesoup Vampires and other.

Urist McUrist manages to outdo every other one of my characters by 3k points, guess this game favors dwarfs?

Try:
Assassination, Golemancy(Get the mustache golem), Maces(Dwarfish Handshake), Shield-Bearer, Archeologist(For the hat), Berserkers Rage, Master of Arms and then choose any crafting skill you want, or get another combat ability.

Astrology / Necroeconomics is pretty good. Get something to survive until Mark of Cthon (using death curse occasionally, but not too much or you're a dead man) and you'll be laughing.
