I just think you'd have fun creeping around on the ceilings above our enemies, then dropping a noose made of webbing down... :3 As for the Silver Tree situation, true, but if he turns around and walks away before the male wakes up he'll probably be fine. The female's not in his sight but that doesn't necessarily mean she's standing right behind him. Maybe he's lucky and she's all the way on the other side of the forest catching prey. ^^;

The problem with a spider-elf character is, how they will be able to keep up with a man on a horse?

I guess I could add a spider-gallop ability...

They can skitter REAL fast. :3 Strictly speaking, how are any of our characters going to keep up with a man on a horse? Unless Kais are really fast I don't see any of them keeping pace with a horse. :-\

Just get a big horse. Or a juvenile cave tyrannosaur, or something. Or lash together all my comrades' horses with webbing to share the load... yes, that's a non-crazy solution that'll work perfectly.

The answer to how a spiderelf can keep up with a horse is that they dont. And they will NOT be coming with us, even if I have to slaughter them all myself. Get rid of that thing, its dangerous, or I will and I will not be nice, or gentle for that matter. Spiderelves are also naturally evil creatures as well, they are nasty elven exiles mixed with spiders to make a slightly demonic whole. No way that they will even THINK of joining the kai order.

Also, you just try killing my earthern. Go ahead and try. We shall see just how effective it is. I hope you enjoy being blown apart by my earth spirit friend.

And adwarf, those things are very angry and predatory, as shown by the corpses and smashed plant life around their lair. I seriously don't think that it will let you go out of good graces, rather it will just feel hungry and want a snack.

As for names for the elemental, may I suggest something involving some kind of rock or metal in it's name? Or maybe something like boulder or stone or something?

Ahem. As the resident mindrapist, I believe I'm both in a better position to judge said spider's mental state (and penchant for treachery) than you, and in an extremely convenient position to deal with him quickly should he prove problematic.

Furthermore, he needn't join the Kai order proper to be useful to us. At a bare minimum, he's 13 more hit points for something to chew through getting to us.
