Naw, it was a quote from some shrink named Nietzche. Toady musta been in the mead when he typed that.
You're not the only person who does it, so I'm not singling you out here (or not trying to anyways), but I seriously need to rant about this:
There seems to be an incredible lack of reading comprehension amongst the community that surrounds this game. Literally every thread that gets made is filled with people replying to something that is nowhere close to what the original poster, or anyone else in the thread, was saying or asking. If a person asks why they can't make wooden breastplates, they're more likely to see a slew of answers telling them they need fuel before they can smelt as opposed to any sort of response regarding why dwarves can't make armor with wood. Hell, in this very thread, where someone straight-out acknowledges that Nietzsche was the originator of a quote and attempts to create a discussion around its pertinence to upcoming code changes, someone has completely disregarded the entirety of the first post in favor of replying with something slightly related to the topic at hand.
It baffles me that you can all play a game that essentially requires reading pages upon pages of wiki, and yet you can't even fully decipher a simple paragraph of text on a forum. Seriously. You're all smart people, too. Pull your heads out of your asses.
