Hm, this might be stupid but what if you made the borders and inner part the same block tile? Of course grass would be different.

And everything of the same material being the same tile without borders doesn't look great.

Looking at it now, that looks slightly impossible. The key word is slightly, as it looks like each boy part is a completely separate picture. However, there might be a way to do it through thinking about it.

Doable, but that's going to make the game like very ugly with NPCs. NPCs are made out of several annoying little parts. There are a few constants though, so some of them work.

However, I'm currently making them all into ASCII characters, but I'm resizing them to make it not look like garbage. And to not have super small hitbox zombies or something... Actually, that would be funny.

The potions are annoying. There's like 50 of those things! I filled up all the colors of ! and switched to the upside down ones. Bleh!
