I love the Night's Edge, it's basically the Fiery Greatsword, but faster and more powerful.
Yes, it's also a bit shorter, but since the Eater homes in on you and you should have good enough armor by the time you get the Night's Edge, it's basically simply better. It's hilariously expensive to craft, but it's SO AWESOME!

That reminds me of a conversation I had once with some other people.

 Basically, the game we were talking in let you judge roughly how powerful an npc or player was compared to you and gave you a message ranging from "X is much weaker than you" to "You would have to be utterly insane to attack X"

There was a powerful person  who typed "X doesn't understand why you don't use your fists like X does". Made me happy I haven't chosen to be PVP yet.

Anyhow back on topic. Hell is really annoying me. Hellstone is in tiny poclets, and there are no chests anywhere. I have one or two skin potions, but I want to save them. I can't find any islands for feathers...

You don't need islands for feathers, harpies spawn when you're high up and decently far away from the spawn point. Just make a skybridge. Also, you don't even need feathers for obsidian skin potions.

I would love that. Not sure how well the animation would fare on them however since the animation side of things here is uhhh, fairly nonexistant.

Yay, built my first house. And then a second sorta-house to house an anvil and give me a spot to spend the night. Crafting interface is wonky as hell tho.

If ever there were a game that needed one of those giant tech tree posters, it's this one.

Indeed. Once you fill your inventory with materials and stick to a cluster of different workshops, it becomes a nightmare to navigate, that is.. if you're in a rush.

Yea, I learnt quickly to not put your production furniture close together. An anvil alone is bad enough, but combine it with a furnace and workbench and you will never find what you need.

I've never had too much of a problem with it.

Moving stuff from chest to chest and moving chests, that's a nightmare...

Also, I have more gold chests than wooden by a ratio of around 5. I think I have ariund 50 or 60 gold ones...

Which reminds me, I generated a new world and immediately got a bloodmoon. If I were a new character I'd've been Nommed fairly quickly.

Blood moons only occur if you have 120 or more health.
