Oh, I just want to say this.
How come I don't see anyone showing their love for D-Dog's Fulton outfit?

This is so stupid its smart.

Dat slide, though.

I need to try this, and promptly fail spectacularly.

Be sure to get the waterproof box first, though.

You don't need the waterproof box if you're fast enough.

I'm somewhat bemused by what triggers an alert for a defender in an FOB mission.

I had one for me, that I didn't get an opportunity to defend presumably because the guy got to the end fast enough, but no retaliation thing :(

Then I was attacking someone, KO'd one guy at the spawn point after luring him, lured another guy who spied the first one,  didn't really get a chance to do anything other than shine a light before I shot him in the face with the Riot SMG.

Next thing I know the owner has spawned, and I didn't even get an opportunity to go up the stairs :-\

I also suck at FOB missions :))

I'm kinda bummed that I won't be getting this in time for the multiplayer's launch, after all. :(
The PS4 I was supposed to be borrowing was apparently loaned to someone else, so I spent the money I was going to spend on Phantom Pain on a Toxic Holocaust ticket instead. I guess I'll have to play catch-up with the rest of the playerbase whenever I manage to play the game somewhere down the track.

Sigh. If only the PC release of MGO would actually be something NOT next year.

So, MGO, is it any good? Anyone had a chance to play it yet? Been hearing mixed things.

It's pretty fun, though I only really play as an infiltrator.

I think the Automatching thing is broken because I keep getting a "disconnected from play" message before I even get into the game. If the host quits it also boots everyone from the game, which is quite silly. This results in no-one getting any XP if it happens before the end of the match.

Seems to be pretty decent when playing with my people.

Every class can be useful.
Recon gets access to sniper rifles and marking abilities/equipment.  Damn useful, that e-locator.

Infantry are the gunning class.  With access to LMG and explosives.  They can take a skill that allows them to see the status of allies and an overall boost in situational awareness if you pay attention to the map.  I love that.

Infiltrator, well they have the camo and shotguns.  Shotguns not as OP as in FOB.  Basically, there skill set can make it easier to stun/sleep enemies and fulton em.  Camo isn't total stealth, people paying attention will see you moving around, but when it works, you got the drop.  Often times I've tried and failed to get in close with cqc while camoed.  I've also killed many who have tried and failed.

TIP: Bounty Hunter mode.  If you got a kill count, stick with the group.  You go down and get fultoned, the enemy gets your points added to their number of lives.  That shit'll turn the game right around on ya, even if you get 10 kills.  It is cause you got 10 kills.  Better to die fighting then be captured...

Favorite Equipment: Plushy
Gripes: Dying causes all equipment to instantly disappear.  Like for example, I throw a grenade or stun grenade and get shot up.  Grenade never works, it poofs into the ether.

Players host the game and there is no host migration.  Buddy was hosting game and our team was wrecking like rockstars, holding the capture points.  He d/c and everyone gets shunted back to the freeplay room.

Walkers, want to disable.

Both, really. Kinda takes away the whole "tactical" element when you can just bull rush in with a mech and own everyone.
