..Hastur. I have answered this several times. You cannot use your minions the week they are hired.
Smear missions give a chance at redirecting slight amounts of Notoriety gain from missions you're doing, onto other factions. The backlash from this could be heavy, as I doubt the Forces of Justice would appreciate being duped.

That depends on what you're after in terms of bonuses.
..Spider drones are used for a bonus to guarding rolls.

A sneak attack.

The old compound was gone.  Much of the important physical gear was saved, but there was a grave loss of life.  Fourteen of his bravest children cut down in their prime.  Lord Thrakor would mourn their passing for a time to come.

The new headquarters was set up in a cave system Lord Thrakor had visited in his youth.  Even then, he beheld the majesty of the cave system with respect.  Now that it had become his base of operations, he discovered just how far the caves extended.  This would do for now.

The meeting hall was set up in one of the largest caverns.  A natural amphitheater, one standing in the center could be heard by all who were inside.  The perfect place for a shepherd addressing his flock.

Lord Thrakor burned with an inner rage.  His tone remained even, but the fury was clearly visible in his eyes.  This was a major setback to the project!

"My children.  We have suffered a grave attack by an impetuous fool.  He sold us out to the so-called Forces of Justice, and suffered the consequences in kind.  Rumor says that he took many casualties as well from CARE's assault.  Sadly, we are in no position to take advantage of his weakness... yet."

"I will spend this week bolstering our ranks back to operational capacity.  Your jobs this week will be to get us dug in to the new position, ready to handle operations from this point forward."

"Let us have a moment of silence for the brave children who have sacrificed themselves to advance our cause."

"Thank you.  Go in thought, my children.  There is yet much to be done.  Know this- those who dare interfere with our holy work will soon face our wrath."

Thrakor heads to his new office, carved out from the raw earth.  There is much to be done, indeed.  It will all pay off soon enough.
