Assuming Obama gets raputured, I plan to take advantage of the confusion and claim the office of Infinite President of the United States (Yes. iPOTUS.). My first edict will be to build a tower to heaven and nuke god for kidnapping/murdering/rapturing(What? I'm iPOTUS, I can make that a crime.) a large portion of humanity.

There is no possibility that they are correct. The religious book they use specifically says that ONLY god knows when the world will end. If someone says that they are christian and they know when the world ends, there are only three possibilities:

1: They are lying
2: They are were lied to (intentionally or not)
3: They are god

Debating what you'd do if they were right is a completely worthless activity. I put absolutely zero faith in this, the same amount I put into the "Mayan" 2012 apocalypse theories. I actually find it less true than I find general christian beliefs.

Actually, I think that the 2012 apocalypse theoriesare even stupider. Say what you want about the Christian theories but at least they' based on the misinterpretation of a belief system that people still follow; The 2012 apocalypse theories are basd on the misappcation of a belief system that nobody has believed in in hundrds of years.

and On the topic of the Mayan calendar 2012 apocalypse theories, its getting to the point with these kind of theories that I'm suprised that some of these folks don't freak out every December when their wall calendars are aout to run out because we went through this same bullshit eleven years ago, when Microsoft's calendar ran out (although, that at leas had real potential to cause minor scheduling errors and premature expiration of limited usage trial software, whereas the Mayan calendar is pretty much irrelevant to everything (unless your computer was made in Mexico and exeedingly old ))
