I was noticed that it seems to me that generally Team Failure has one major advantage over Team Success. TF seems to always have at least one game winning goal to work toward: "killing the protagonist." TS doesn't always have an obvious and well defined game winning goal like that. Plus, TF can achieve their success pretty easily by the end despite at the time losing in points.
So I wanted to propose an idea for this. First off, state a clear unarguable win condition for TS. Kind of like the evil scientist conquering the world. The dragon seemed to not have a clear win condition, he had a goal but nothing to say when said goal would ultimately be achieved.
Secondly, I think the points the teams have accumulated should effect a couple things. My idea is that a team can't achieve a game winning goal unless they are currently in the lead by a certain number of points (like 10 or so). Think of it as tennis's advantage point system, a player can't win a game without a couple point lead on the other. This way if TS has 50 points and TF has 25 points then TF cannot kill the protagonist off and win despite having a low scoring game.
I mostly thought of this due to the fact it seems the point system has been not important so far. I don't think a single team has won due to the point system yet. I think using the point system in this way will make more tension, as it is more important to keep your team's score higher than the other team's.
I know doing this will make it harder for TF to win and that I will be on TF next round, but where's the fun if winning is easy right?
Plus, it might also have the side effect of rounds lasting longer due to the fact the teams will not be able to win at anytime.
