It has always had a nose. On some screens it's invisible, on most it's only visible at odd angles, and on some it's broken and fairly easy to see. It is designed for exactly the effect you just experienced, noticing it after months or years of looking at it. :)

Edit: P.S. thanks for making me happy.

Lies!  I can't see it, not even at extreme angles or when I invert the colors.

I can just barely see something from one angle, but it's such a steep angle it's not clear.  So there is one.  Huh.

Stupid monitor.  Once again, it fails at dark.

An overly PC ED doesn't sound any better, and possibly a smidge worse.
I feel it sounds a lot worse.
At least when it was ED it wasn't trying to be something it wasn't. Hell, from my view, ED didn't try anything.
Well, meh! Not really much else to say.

Although being on this forum for a couple of years now, I have never noticed that nose, purely because the angle at which I sat before stopped the right light or whatever from making it visible. Needless to say, what has been seen cannot be unseen.

MOAHAHAHA! I have succeeded. :D

Edit: oh, and your screen isn't broken. in fact, if you CAN see it easily you have your gamma set way to high for viewing most things properly.

the only way I was able to see it was by opening it in an  image editing program and messing with the transparency

I can see it by looking more closely at my laptop. Not that hard, really.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

It shows up some what clearly on my laptop, when plugged into the charger at least, when off the charger to save energy the screen is not as bright, and it becomes hard to notice.

I want ED back. It was precious for its utterly childlike behavior about all things trololololol-able.

Pick one of the two, have ED back. pick the third option for the PC ED.
