♫ I'm feeling this right now. The groove, the soft, slow motion towards sweet oblivion. ♫Urgh...where was I? Oh, right.
I have discovered a great love for chiptune, especially stuff like Anamanaguchi (<3) or Adhesive Wombat.
I am quite impressed by Adhesive Wombat, even though I'm not usually into electronic music.
On an unrelated note, this is by a Russian folk band called Melnitsa ("Windmill"). In my opinion, their tracks are evenly divided into "cool" and "too sappy." I'll just post this here because I'd like to know what does Russian sound like to an outside observer, so to speak.
C-c-c-combo! (not breaker)
Introducing: Kola Kid, a Russian chiptune artist!
his soundcloudhis bandcampTBH, I'm not sure how does his music sound this days, just few weeks ago I've discovered that the guy's actually still active. But back few years ago, when I first heard him...well, he's just awesome.
Though somehow different if I compare him to, say, Nullsleep or Anamanaguchi, at least from what little I've heard from them. Dunno, hard to explain why...
And for the record, I too learned Russian, though just for a short time. I'd love to learn in again, as I find it to be very pleasant-sounding to my ears. Then again, my first language is part of Slavic language family, so maybe that's why.
